They're both Highly-trained badminton players. Only some of their delicate skills overcome the other's greatest performance in repetitive dimensions.

Both of them are prides of their home countries for sure. LD is well respected in China I'm sure LCW must be the same in Malaysia.

They are Ying and Yang. I think they are in the same level. Only Lin is more mentally tougher like his character. Reminds me of Garry Kasparov (LD) Vs Vishwanath Anand(LCW) in Chess..They inadvertently completed each other and sustained their highest quality for a decade. A rare attribute which never endorsed by current players except Axelson.

Why would anyone disagree?

I missed LCW and LD matches. Although Lin Dan won more matches against Lee Chong Wei but I like LCW's technique more. Also, he was always cool during his matches. LD best performances were mostly against LCW. I wish the current generation of male badminton players can match their performances and dedications to this sport.

Lin dan is brilliant in techniques bcz f his accuracy... great to see his matches.. some deceptions of LD r great to watch (not seen in this game, but against others)... LCW is also a fantastic player. Great.

Anyone notice that Lin Dan often lift the shuttle on LCW's forehand side? Not only on this matches but also in other matches against him. Is that because of LCW's backhand shot too good or his forehand side is slightly weaker? Or just to force LCW do the straight shot which is on Lin Dan's forehand side too

It's not just the attack potency, great speed and unique footwork, his sturdy asf composure is also on point too that's why he can easily read and control his opponent very well. Lin Dan in his prime is just on whole another level.

I always think that lindan more win over LCW bcoz he already read LCW style played, the LCW variation is not versatile to beat lindan, their speed is the same, only variation is different, lindan more creative to force LCW to make mistakes, and its continue until they retired, but both are legend and have achieved high level..

Lcw is the longest number one ever, even at the peak of ld. Also lcw has 3 silver medals in Olympics ( last one by defeating LD), so more longevity. Also LD have advantage of left hand. In my opinion lcw is superior

both of them are the goat. but lindan is luckier. we should appreciate them both. without them, badminton is just another dull sport to watch
