a maxed pengullet's partner ability deals like tripple dmg of a legendary rocket launcher, and theres a pal that boosts all water dmg while in party, i think that might actually do more dmg overall

While true youre also more limitted in firepower aswell as youd be stuck with just pengullet typing so higher damage yes but lower DPS overall and less versatile

This is a pretty cool build idea! Love it.

I had an idea I thought I would share, I'm breeding my base Gobfins, the ones in going to pump all my other Gobfins into so they all have Vanguard, Stronghold Strategist, Motivational Leader, and either Logging or Mining Foreman. After catching hundreds of the things I easily had the right ones to breed together, so once I get them all to level 5 they'll be the best they can be.

I went this routue as well. my gobfins and mounts also have stronghold strategist for the additional defense. I did that as I was using the build as soon as i got the gobfins and pistol. I enjoy the control when capturing pals this way.

Moxy I'm a fan of yours from BL3. It's good to see your content again.

ive had absolutely insane luck on the legendary schematics, got pump shotgun first suzaku kill and launcher 5th jetdragon kill. No increased rates either. Insane.

I didn't realize it until I got it but I did have insane luck as well. I didn't really care for the legendary schematics as I knew it would be a grind so I thought I wouldn't farm for it. I tackled the Jetragon for the first time today and after I captured it, I noticed in my inventory that I got a golden schematic and sure enough it was the bazuka. I'm far off from crafting it tho as zi am not high level enough to craft the lvl 2 assembly thingy. And of course, my level is even further away from being able to craft the ammos. Is there a way I can use this early? Can I buy ammos for this?

I think it might be worth doing some tests on the "Applies" "Enhances" and "Converts" mounts. Starting at level 14 you can run a Univolt with 4 Sparkits for a pretty big additive value to your weapon, but the info starts getting murky once you get to the Enhances pals. Gobfins are probably going to be the best ROI for the build, but if you are running Frostallion anyway i wonder if you couldn't do the same damage with Foxicles as you have the "convert" property. Edit: I could see a Pyrin based farming build for running laps around the ice area for exp.

I'd personally pick a Ragnahawk, applies the same buff but would be a lot easier to deal with the mountains in snow zone.

Foxcicle specifically states it increases the damage of ice pals. Gobfin is the only one I know of that boosts player attack while off field. Im saying this while thinking I made the wrong choice with my frostallion+4 vanguard foxcicle project that is like 1,000 eggs deep already.

@@dakotalaughlin7985 sorry to hear that, a lot of this game seems to be independent systems patchworked together so every interaction needs testing. If it turns out that the elemental attacks only stack on the pal, then maybe Gobfin will be the BIS buffer, and then just swapping mounts for the various additive bonuses. I know that Hoocrates is top for the Shadowbeak set, but you just spam the mount attacks and everything melts. finding a good farming set for the midgame is going to take investigating.

Could we get a video of you facing Victor & Shadowbeak by chance and what your setup for that fight would be? I’ve tried beating them with pretty much the same setup I just don’t have the legendary rocket, a Gobfin with vanguard, or any of the +3 accessories.

Wonder if the Hawk eye partner skill would be as effective with 4 maxed out Gobfins. From Robinquill and Vanwerm...

I got lucky for the leg rocket launcher, got it from the dungeon chests you got your +2 amulets from. Probably 100 times rarer than farming jetragon, time will tell.

i have also noticed that the pump action shotgun is insane which has a legendary version aswell

this is for sure worth testing. depending on how the damage is "applied" you might get a per-pellet bonus from something like a Pyrin. So stacking roobies could really crank up the damage per shot.

What do you think of doing this but with Robinquill instead of Gobfin? I haven't seen anyone explore the "More damage to weak points" thing yet.

glad to see im not the only player who found a way to hit as hard if not harder then the pals

Yeah right bud, you thought you were the only one doing anything, you're dead wrong. You could spin around 3x and say the alphabet backwards, and there's a thousand people who did that shit before you. Let your ego go, you aint special.

Any deets on the difference between mounts that "apply" vs "enhance" said element?

for the legendary rocket launcher make at least two of them. when you shoot one and you hear the click noise or when you see there is 1 istead of 0 you can switch back and forth to the next rocket launcher to save some unneccessary reload time. you can even go with four if you want to finish sth of you then can shoot all four of them almost immediately and yes, this build destroys even the last tower boss EASILY in under a min (my fastest was under 25 sec and it was not a perfect run). EDIT: and there is also +20% atk food to max the dmg potential out.

@@WarBovine oneshoting yetragon on a frostallion (ice> dragon) is easy especially when it sleeps but you can't oneshot the last tower boss (1x settings) lul. the last tower boss is unable to sleep so no bonus there and even then it's impossible. I do a bit more than 30k yellow crit on him with frostallion (dark=ice). chillet (dragon>dark) with red crit is around the same but it inceases only base atk% not generall dmg% that's why they are around the same even with weakness advantage but only if you have 5x vanguard, 4x4*gobfins, a 4* frostallion, 2x 2+ atk accessoires and 20% atk food with level 50 and 49 atk stats obviously so befor using 10 different pals just go for frostallion and frostallion noct with this equipment. they are very tanky, with both weakness tables combined you have a 100% dmg coverage and you can fly while having the second fastest mount in the game being your goat.

Im in the process of making those Gobfin with Motivational Leader and Mine Foreman in the open 2 slots for 100% in both.

Does ferocious/Divine dragon buff the added damage from chillet or other mounts? Is there a difference between gobfin and gobfin ignis?

Warsect and Anubis (plus other pals) have partner skills with “applies x damage to the player’s attacks” without having to be mounted. Do they give the 50% damage buff as well?

Huh. I just started the jet dragon breeding grind, I wonder if it's worth to swap to frostallion. Also, when I used a rocket launcher on jetragon, I get 80 damage.

But honestly, good shit. Been looking for a similar way to optimize my damage but didn’t want to mount them. I know Anubis applies earth but I think that’s the only non mount one. Editing to avoid 3 comments on one video lol Have you also thought about a Robinquill instead of a mount for more weakpoint damage? Probably not good atm since there’s no Legendary single shot rifles but might still be good with the assault rifle.

I just went to this video coz I saw damage and a bazuka. I went up against Jetragon for the very first time today and got him. But I also got the legendary schematic for the bazuka. So I wanted to see how much damage it could do. I am far off from the lvl I need to be to craft this as I need the lvl 2 assembly line thing, and even further from crafting ammos. How can I get ammos if I haven't unlocked the tech to craft it yet? Is there a way I can use this early?

I got the legandary level 4 rocket launcher in a chest after defeating the kingpaca cryst. I dont know if thats the same as the jet dragon one since i havent gotten that one yet.

BTW, I noticed... Farming legendary schematics from bosses drop in threes if I have pal appearance maxed. All of them. So, I think it having pal appearance maxed or not does not affect the chance of getting the schematics.

It does. I have killed a group of 3, and only gotten the legendary scematics from 1 of them. I have also killed all 3, gotten nothing, then butchered them and gotten the schematic off 1 of them.

Do you need to invest in attack on level ups?

Well, went through all the trouble of setting this build up, and only did 760 damage to Frostallion... And Victor died slower than using a traditional team setup

where do you get all tables?

I believe the drop rates are in the realm of 2.5% to 3%, so expect to defeat each boss 35-40 times on average to get the legendary schematic.

Frostallion and Frostallion Noct both swap the player's damage type, but without an attack bonus.

Its better than the other mounts. Despite it not giving the atk bonus you will deal more damage overall from the elemental buff

I'm not that far in the game to test; but could you not breed two jetdragons together and butcher for a chance at the schematic maybe? Could save a bit of manual farm time.

Nahh they need the "alpha" trait that only the wild caught ones have, once bred they lose that

Yeah this is cool and all but would suck if people can keep doing this and just one shot everything in the game and have no challenge. I think the game needs to nerf some things like the gobfins ability for sure

Do you have your damage from player turned up? If not, you can 5x your damage through that slider.

Does frostallion have the boost for damages ?

How do you use your weapon while you're mounted? The controls change and normally it's just left click to shoot but that uses one of the mount's abilities on PC

Yeah this is cool and all rn but for the future of the game, more content, new pals and pvp this stuff definately needs to be nerfed and not be able to stack like this. It's way too game breaking and not balanced

so the atk bonus is only for specific pals? because there's others that convert element like anubis without mounting and in that spreadsheet it talked about frostallion didn't give it

Frostallion actually does give a bonus and it is the biggest in the game. It just doesn't apply till your attacks are converted to Ice so it doesn't get displayed in the menu

@@KingDoesRage yup. Specifically, I compared my 4 star Ragnahawk against base Frostallion with 4 gobfins in the other slots. I got almost the same damage, so frostallion base was giving me around 70% boost

Hey so I've been kinda working on a build video like this myself, and uhh, elephant in the room here, you have a damage multiplier active. It's not an accusation, it's just fact, and it's not even subtle. I don't wanna go into detail about my build since understanding the math is a large reason it's so much stronger than yours, but my build is maybe 2.5x as strong as yours, doing a lot of the same strategies you're doing (including sleeping/headshots), and in a lot of these clips you're dealing 20% more than I am, which leads me to believe you're using a 3x damage multiplier or something close, because these numbers are literally impossible with the build you're using

The boss spawn rate is a misconception. All 3 will spawn with the same loot. So it is just coincidental that you got it after you increased the spawn rate.

Is this actually true? Because I did the same thing to get the legendary handgun from the Beakon alpha boss and I only got the schematic from one of them. If this is true I would expect to get 3 schematics and it seems like Moxsy would notice getting 3 schematics...

@rezjar5829, I will admit that it was only a handful of bosses. However, I always got identical drops. I had 3x drops on and got 9 schematics every time they dropped. Now, it could have been really good luck. I just don't think it was

Frostallion Noct applies dark dmg to your attacks while mounted AND enhances dark dmg done by players.

Beakon can fly lol. Same with Ragnahawk and Pyrin. Same damage bonus and element conversion

First fight with Jetragon I caught him and he dropped the Legendary RL schematic........the Legendary Assault Rifle was a different story altogether.

You would still be able to come up with these videos in a non pvp/pve game like train simulator ,1 shotting clouds XD.

I have 500+ damage and I don't OS, I just make 2300 damage with rocket launcher ... did you boost the damage on your server ? or it's because you play in local ?

He's definitely got like a 3x damage multiplier active. I can OS Jetragon with my build, but my build is over twice as strong and still doesn't deal 24k. He should be getting roughly 8-10k with his, even using all the same strats like sleep multiplier and such.

Trust Moxsy to find ways to one shot everything in a game like Palworld 😂

so maxed out Gobfins and after respecing I'm at 435 attack lol. Yeah I didn't listen and have no weight. I might respec to put a bit later because I probably don't need that much attack.

I watch all these videos and they make me so excited then I try to play on Xbox and my game crashes every 30 seconds 😢

Capture the boss monsters, butcher them for another shot at a drop. Thats how i got mine

i've been working on the op sweepa strat, hatched 270+ and still hasn't gotten the perks to combine right, since about 100+ eggs ago i had a male with legend/swift/ferocious and a female with legend/ferocious/musclehead and i still can't get all 4 on the same sweepa. this player dmg strat seems much easier compared to the abysmal rng ive had so far, already have the attack accessories

Are there any server mods that affect this damage? im on a friends server so maybe he toned down player damage? Is that a thing? I had 2 of the attack pendants, 4 gobfins with vanguard and max lvl partner skill (farmed 400+), pyrin with only lvl 2 in their partner skill and a t3 rocket launcher. I saw about 3.5 - 4k on a sleeping 14k hp frostalion. (will try again with the mozarina food)

I'm currently doing this atm and yes I saw the same results. I have 2 +2 attack pendant. Blue rarity rocket launcher (12k dmg) Ragnahawk as a mount and 4 gobfins all with vanguard Yet i saw 2k dmg and that was with a mozzarina burger

@@ItsJoshnic yeah kinda annoying if it's just 5x dmg setting and not legit base game. Especially after making a video showing it off knowing people will try and then find out it isn't possible. I hope I'm just missing something but unless the one or 2 things I need to max it are guna change 2.5k into like 70k dmg I just don't see it

@@ItsJoshnic found a better easier method to 1 shot the bosses anyway. You FREEZE them with a pal ability (frostallion charge attack does this perfectly) then just rocket it. And the explosion sends the boss to space. They fall and hit the ground about 10 seconds later and they take a crazy high amount of damage. Best part is you don't need to farm basically anything to do this. You just need a rocket launcher and any pal that can freeze the boss. As soon as it freezes shoot a rocket directly at it and watch them get yeeted

Anubis verdash ragnahawk beakon and warsect all add element damage too

@@diesisteinname2053 2 I listed are mounts and there aren't any mounts I've seen that do grass or earth so verdash is the only option for grass that I know of and Anubis for earth
