No doubt, my stock JK headlights are basically candles.

I’ve had my amazon ones for 2 years and they haven’t let me down yet 😭 defiantly will buy these when they give out.

I'd probably purchase them if I didn't already have the stock LEDs. They remind me of the JL's LED lights. The 'horizontal bars' of the JL lights remind me of the slotted light covers the military Jeeps had during WWII. I always thought that was the JL's nod to Jeep's military history. Surprised it's not mentioned more if that was intentional. Another great video Ben. Keep them coming.....

I bought the Highbeam off-road lights, installed them. Work great, really bright. Thank you.

Hey Ben. What do you recommend for LED tail lights ?

that's really impressive light output. i bought a JLUR and the stock LEDs are amazing over the JK halogens. coupled with the mopar A pilar LED spots you can see like daytime on the trail.

I have Quadratec led head lights (look like truck lites).. they are very good at hot spots and cut off lines.... For tail lights I have the High beam off-road ones ( don't remember the name) with the brightest backup lights I have ever seen they work great!...

I wouldn’t bother with LED replacement bulbs, they scatter the light randomly and don’t have a good beam pattern. I know quite a few people who tried it and later changed them out with actual LED headlights

Wow. They are really bright

Just call me "Day late, dollar short". Already running JW Speaker 8700 Evo's on both of my Jeeps. Did the research. The Highbeam Drifters are much brighter than my J-Dubs at half the price. Not to mention the lifetime warranty vs J-Dubs 5 years. Can't even find a clear definition of their warranty on their site anymore. Good find, Ben.

They look amazing, so far i dont have any issues with the led lights that came on my jeep, i will have to see what brand they are.

Running High Beam Predators on my YJ love em

I got halos because they look cool but these are amazing especially in the desert. They do look a little "buggy", love the look.

I recommend wrapping the anti-flicker plugs with electrical tape to avoid getting water in them. I love my Raxiom LED's but the plugs can get loose and muddy water will cause them to turn off.

how are your lights working

I used the LX-LIGHT ones from amazon. 480 reviews and was rated at 4 1/2 stars which was the same as the trucklights. Not a bad light for 90$.

Same! They used my pic for their thumbnail! I had an issue with one light a couple years back, but they sent out a replacement in a couple of days!

Just in time because a deer decided to kill my trucklite headlights yesterday. Great review and damn they look nice.

Great video Again! In my state the inspections are very anti-aftermarket LED headlights mostly due to people using the super cheap Chinese bulbs in their stock reflectors. Have you ever had any legal issues? Or maybe others have had inspection problems? Here, having DOT approved lights does not seem to help, they just don't like them. Yet new Jeep's have them from factory.

Nice vid Ben but 👎🏽 on this purchase. I wish Jeepers would stop buying cheap Chinese products. I have seen Jeeps with these & yes they are very bright & cool looking but BLINDING!!! It may say "DOT" approved but anyone who buys these better check state/local laws first. They are excellent for off roading but are not made for street use because of how bright they are. I looked at the cheaper lights out there but chose to go with JW Speaker head/fog lights. With that being said, enjoy your new purchase brah & keep the vids coming 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Have to agree! The ones that are truly DOT legal have information to back the claim. Every amazon light that blinds people says DOT on it... Only those that are DOT Certified are legal.

I bought these headlights I just set a fog and I cannot get a hold of the company do you have any suggestions

how are the new ones working? Moisture inside?

Do the Highbeam Defenders generate any heat, to keep the ice & slush from building up in the winter? (I'm in Minnesota where that's half the year)

Ben, would you PLEASE get a GoPro Head Mount for your installs! That way you're not dropping headlights when talking to the camera! ;-)

Brightness is great. But idk how I feel about that horizontal line look when they're actually on. Funny thing I would watch your videos and didn't even own a jeep. I now have a 2014 that I can now apply what I watch lol.

Love my jw speaker evolution j led led headlights ,yeah expensive but get what u pay for and no anti flicker harness needed it's already built in I'm not buying Chinese lights but to each there own,buy what u can afford,they are all better then factory ones,my jw speaker lights I've had for 3 years now

Tried to research where these are actually made with no luck. Figuring if it was made in the USA they would be proudly letting it be known. Any idea? Anyways stick with KC Lites!! Made in USA always have been always will be. They have all you’re headlights as well. And guaranteed.

Ours are produced in China and we’re not afraid to say it. The quality we are getting from our manufacturers is second to none. We wouldn’t put a lifetime warranty on them if we didn’t have faith in the product.

For me where they are made is huge. I am for America. Also for American companies that employ Americans and keep the jobs right here in the USA. I have no doubt you have faith in your product and I tip my hat to that. But I know where my KC lites come from. The same town that the company was started at is right where they are today.

I didn’t know those little wires could setup for a turn signal and daylights, I left them alone on my instal but could you do in depth video of setting those up? It isn’t a bad thing to have day running lights right?

Hi Ben, I've had the highbeam offroad lights for a while, great lights, sux they went out of business. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has the PDF of wiring instructions to put amber DRL. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know you need to clip in 1 of the extra wires into 1 of the 3 wires running to running lights, but I'm not sure, which color to which color. any help would be much appreciated.

Give that anti-flicker harness a good jolt. You'll see the high beams flash.

I would fill all of those connectors up with dielectric grease before snapping them together.

Wow those lights a real nice, to bad they went out of business. Do you know of any other light that has that same spread? I would like to get new lights for my job but don’t know which one to get. Any recommendation?

I have the RGB orbital combo with the fog lights from high beam off road and have had nothing but TROUBLE with them. I have a dead spot in the halos after changing out the rgb controller. The lights are very bright and love the way they look. My main problem is the app that controls the halos. It's pretty much made the halos useless right now since I cant pair them with my phone or the halos dont show up in the app. Cant control the halos without the app.

My headlight harness were so finicky and corrodded. Cleaned them so many times and put grease but never worked. Finally just cut the damn thing off and hard wired it. Might be a pain in the future but F it

I bought similar ones from Seward off-road. Pretty sure they're just coming out of China and getting rebranded. I bought a full LED light kit with headlights, fog lights, markers, turn signals and taillights.

cagekicker78 illumiNATION LEDs created these with a Chinese manufacturer before they shut down in 2013. Since then every other company has rebranded them as well. They’re great lights though.

Similar, but a whole new redesign at 130W on high beam.

I Have been having troubles with my highbeam from tough to track the package, headlight not longer has logo, no stickers, they showed up already a bit scratched under the packaging film and now my high beams don’t work and I I’ve tried different anti flicker harness’ and they won’t respond on any platform for the warranty and I’m starting to think covid took the company under. I’m not sure if you can provide insight or facilitate as this has been going on for several months and I can’t get in contact with them for help as much as I want to like the headlights. I got them based off your video really but haven’t had the best luck.

ordered these over a month ago, never came, never heard from the company. kinda disappointed. any other suggestions?

ive yet to see a set of headlights that compare to my oscar mike mopar leds.They are so bright i get flashed by other drivers constantly thinking i have my brights on.Forget about the mopar fog led also they are crazy bright.

High Beam Offroad they are factory on a 2018 oscar mike freedom edition brand new.They are just so bright people think the high beams are on.

Just took the plunge and ordered these.

I'm looking at these headlights for my jk after 2 junk sets of sunpies..they still working gd and what's the best way to get ahold of high beam offroad they have a phone number?

I have a set like those but the cover lenses has a blue tint and my low beams are 6000 a light not 4000. High beams are the same. Little cheaper too same waranty

If you see an anti flicker harness is required you should delete them from the list of cantidates. Quality LED products have the components built in and mounted inside to the heat sink to provide good reliability and weather protection.

@@J.Bradley. trucklite is a good reliable retrofit, they make a version with defroster built in if you live in a climate where it snows. DOT approved, but aiming is required after install because they are so different from halogen bulbs.

Ordered a whole setup from Highbeam Offroad at a show last July and haven't received the product yet. They won't return emails, phone calls, or Facebook messages...tried to contact everyday for a month straight and still no response. This has now been turned over to the Attorney Generals office.

My jeep rubicon came with these lights but without the Af h4 to h13 adapter. I have the headlight out of voltage codes. Awesome headlights but I'm put off by this company because they have no phone #

Late reply but I dont think they really are. You can see many videos online about the same chinese rebranded led lights, and they are not.

Their website keeps offering discounts and specials, so they are not out of business. A search with their name and scam brings up a lot of others that did not receive their orders also. They also charge your credit card at time of purchase, not when shipped.

Yaaaa, my dad's friend thought he'd be nice and help me put my grill back on...he dropped my headlight on concrete and demolished it. You dropping that baby gave me ptsd

IDK man I feel like they shine way too high up and will be blinding people on the opposite side of the road.

You should check out the Better Business Bureau report on this company before purchasing. I have had, and I’m having, issues regarding warranty. I suggest removing this video before someone else purchased based on your review.
