We are so surrounded by the darkness, we have no other choice but to embrace it. (ugh, it sounds so goth, sorry) I like to make music and lyrics, and what I write in the winter in the darkness is not even comparable to the things I write when the sun is around me all the time. I think discomfort is one of the main drives when it comes to creativity.

This is one of the best songs I've ever heard in my lifetime.

Such a lovely sound. There's mornings when when you wake up when it's cold and you're slow. You question everything and why you should even be up. Then a memory of loved ones and moments come home from their long dance during the night and you realise things will be ok

I only find maybe one out of every 100 Bon Iver covers decent. This was incredible. Her voice absolutely has her own type of pain in it. I think that's what makes it so good

Oslo 30.4 Higasakite Live . My daughter (31) and I (63) went together to the concert....and what a night ! They played all the songs we know so well and 3 new songs , all 3 so beautiful,Jesus ! Especially "To Assign Properties ",this one blew me away to a beautiful place ,wow..They left the stage without performing "Lover,where do you live, but that came as an extra.and everybody went home glowing, with a big smile on their faces My daughter and I loved this gig, interesting that they HIT people fom 18 to 63 !..If you get a chance to see Higasakite live , just DO it ! I've seen a lot of live bands, but Highasakite "kills" them all. Have a phenomenal day !
