UniCrafter electrical arcs produce some ozone - so this guy's generated a helluva lot more ozone than most ppl ever will so restoring the ozone layer is an ironic description of his work here. unfortunately it doesn't matter for the ozone layer irl, because the ozone layer starts 12+ miles above, & orders of magnitude less than 1% of surface-level O3 ever makes it up to those altitudes (because ozone is a little unstable & it has to bounce off so many other gas particles to gain elevation)

Estelita Saturnino Nitrogen is a chemical element with symbol N and atomic number 7. It is the lightest pnictogen and at room temperature, it is a transparent, odorless diatomic gas. Nitrogen is a common element in the universe, estimated at about seventh in total abundance in the Milky Way and the Solar System. On Earth, the element forms about 78% of Earth's atmosphere and as such is the most abundant uncombined element. The element nitrogen was discovered as a separable component of air, by Scottish physician Daniel Rutherford, in 1772.

MWG Henry You could do what I do! Use a LOT of solar panels... then it costs nothing!! Oh, but I'm not a mad scientist.... The closest I came to this kind of thing was shorting the leads from just one of my 250 watt solar panels, it was like arc welding. It sparked and flared up and melted the ends of the wires. I couldn't imagine if I did that with ALL of my panels connected in parallel....

Typical peak speed for a washing machine motor like this is about 1200 RPM, which would create an audible frequency of 20 Hz. During this torture test the motor produced an audible tone of about 500Hz, which equates to 30,000 RPM. Not only is that an insane speed for such a large motor, it's insane that it lasted that long, and that it took almost a full minute to spin down after it failed. Whoever made that motor built it extremely well with a remarkable set of bearings. At 1,200 RPM, a motor like that would probably outlive the owner of the washing machine.

Connected directly to the AC supply its maximum speed would have been 3600rpm. at 60 Hz. With electronic speed control this would have been up to 17,500rpm. As you may have noticed, as the voltage exceeded its limits, the motor overheated and slowed down before breaking up.

@@wilsjane I think it's a universal motor. Its speed is related to voltage, not to frequency.
