this podcast was everything and more!!! absolutely love seeing you 2 beautiful dancing souls together!!! my mom was the exact same with the dancing, school, twirling and everything, so competitive!!! had to be the best at everything...i got her dream job and was a Radio City Rockette for 21 years, most of those years raising a son on my own. I am exactly like Kaitlyn and share everything and am always judged harshly for being my true authentic self. so happy for both of you for all of your successes!!! watched both of your seasons of course and voted for each of you every week on DWTS! God Bless and Congrats to both of you for being true inspirations for all women!! "I couldn't wait to send Nick home" that was hilarious Kaitlyn!!!!!!! lolzzzzzzz

Sent here from Dave Neal’s video on this today 🥰 loved the podcast Hannah!! I’m so sorry you and Kaitlyn both had to deal with the toxic culture of dance teachers!!! I couldn’t imagine if I had a child that was being emotionally abused like that by their teacher!! How can we better prevent this from happening to children without straight up taking them out of dance???

I can't! You are both such inspirational women and i respect the absolute fuck out of you both! Truly! It was so great hearing you both explain your experiences with the Bachelorette and being so open about how even though it's amazing there's really only a sliver of it that's really able to be real. It's nice getting to hear about it on a more legitamite level that's not trying to market it to us. Also getting to know a little more of the interworkings of your relationships and your struggles with them and what you've learned you've done wrong and how you can grow. And then to mention your upbringings and how that also plays into how you form your sense of self and how that then dictates how you go through life. Just so insightful and comforting to be able to relate! That's why i love u both so much bc you make me feel so safe and comforted bc you can accept and support being authentic. I feel like I've gone through so much of the same feelings and acting on those feelings in the same ways. Hiding due to shame yet also sharing my struggles in hopes of letting ppl know they aren't alone in their struggles. Just thank you. Thank you both for showing up for your community and giving us something positive to hold onto. You are both a blessing to the world. And Kaitlyn...i think you need to hear this over and over until it sinks in... Your "messiness" aka realness is your superpower! Forget about the ppl who are constantly and rudely criticizing you due to their own internalized issues that they aren't bothering to work on bc you are lightyears ahead of them! Don't let them drag you down. You are brave to show every side of you. For every 1 person that sees what you post and internalizes it negatively and then projects... there are 10 ppl that see it and think she's pushing forward and i can too! You might not be on Time magazine but you are making waves! You will find your person and probably sooner rather than later and you will fill those 6 bedrooms with amazing things. I don't question it one bit! 🫶🍷

Hannah if you're reading this, read the book ATTACHED. It sounds like you're in the ANXIOUSLY ATTACHED category, which is not a self-esteem issue at all. Reading self-esteem books won't help. The "are you mad at me" stuff is more about the attachment category you're in. There's nothing wrong with you. You're assuaged by validation, and your partner understanding that will really help. READ THE BOOK.

I love you two. But honestly, therapy isn’t the end all be all. Constantly hammering your emotions.,, especially the negative emotions isn’t always a good thing. The culture right now is so pro therapy and for some that have mental health issues that are debilitating that is amazing. But for people to constantly go to therapy and talk and obsess over the smallest issues I just don’t think it leads to any healthy mental state. It leads to obsessing over every action you take. Instead of looking back on someone in high school that was mean to you and just simply moving past that you obsess over it call them your bully and give that person more time and energy in your life. I’m not saying don’t go to therapy but maybe go to therapy and talk about your actual grief from losing a loved one or serious clinical depression. Don’t go talk to a therapist and let it be word vomit for mundane everyday occurrences and then call that ✨trauma✨ breakup with your significant other? Trauma. Fight with friend? Trauma. Someone being ugly to you at wal mart? Trauma. It’s over used and so bad for younger generations to not have that mentality of letting things go and getting up and pressing forward and not letting stuff be so serious.

I’m sorry if that has been your experience of therapy. Not all therapists are the same, and perhaps the ones you’ve had in the past have not been an appropriate fit for your needs.

I get what you are trying to say. Instead of just using therapy I have found that I think listening to motivational podcasts is very helpful to heal inner battles you are having. There are so many educated ppl out there that have dived deep into methods to combat negative thoughts and steps for healthier thought processes and rituals. It seems like therapy tends to focus more on what's in the past and healing that which is important but it's also important to learn better behaviors to use in the present to help you move forward and not be as likely to get stuck fixing the past which is technically already behind you and can't really be fixed only improved upon. The brain and the heart are just very complex entities so it's hard to navigate. All you can do is your best and try to accept your best to be happy and full.
