Their GDP means Annual Income of Nation is 4 times of india. Also They have started the focus on Infra building manufacturing since 1980. For 30 years US provided them proper peaceful development as they Helped US against USSR. wheras India was with USSR got Punished specially after 1971 Pakistan disintegration. US kept Sanctions on india till 2004. Even after 2004 , India was banned from various free decisions by US. So u have to take into account Geopolitics too. Also Chinese do have done very hard work apart from all these factors. India will never able to achieve that Level despite all the Noises and Drama in india. China is competing US now even will surpass it. We shd first focus to end our poverty.

Nope, our's is 508 km and construction started in 2021 only. Delays were caused by land acquisition, congress government in Maharashtra and COVID. But it is now in full speed. First section to open by 2026 and rest by 2028.

That fish plate must be temporary as China only builds slab track for high speed trains and as China operates their HS trains on slab at 350kmh they definitely use welded rail.

I dont' understand why governments all over the world, First World, love high speed train. Planes are much much more faster in speed and safer. I can only conclude that building tracks are good for the Union, in the USA, and create more jobs for other countries.

Planes expensive, and have limited capacity. A rail network on the other hand pays for itself after a length of time

Yes they will be welded later. The machinery needed to weld runs on the track. Additional machinery will be used to grind the rails to perfection
