Their voices are similar, so they blend well. That's why family band harmonies sound so good. And using the one large-diaphragm microphone is also very important for the sound.

I got to meet them in person after a show they did here in utah. I can tell you they are the kindest people. Got all their autographs and a photo standing with Emmet which I really desired because I think he's one of the best dobro players in the world today.

The guy on the dobro is awesome.

Agreed, I can not get over the perfection of it all. Even the recording quality, one mic, out door, multiple instruments, and voices, all coming through perfect. Love it.

I'm a long-haired, bearded, left over hippie, blues playin' rock n roller. When I listen to the Petersens I get God bumps and think: Thank you Lord for giving us real music. BTW I have both Trio albums and The Petersens do the music justice.

Ending harmony was noticed, and very much appreciated.

Just gotta say...this is my favorite piece by the Petersens. And that is saying something...I love all of their music. But this song is so well done...the harmony is so beautiful...and the song is so underrated. After a long day, listening to this was like therapy. Thank you, Petersens!!!

You are the antithesis to MTV, Hollywood, and the like. You folks hearken back to a time that couldn't anticipate the garbage we have to wade through in our times. The country land is such a great background for this amazing song. A song that reminds us how precious life is. We can't waste one day not loving the people we care about.

The reason I can't stop watching and listening to you guys is because I can't find what you give us anywhere else, is like going back in time where things were clean, pure and simple. Your way of life, your integrity, simpleness flows through your music and we your audience can feel it. It brings us joy and peace and for that we all thank you.

I think every kid came out of the womb with a voice and an instrument in their hands. Wow. What young and solid talent.

The best thing about The Petersens is they don't have any stars that stand out above the rest. That's a real team.

I was in a bluegrass band in high school - that was in the ‘70s. I played the double bass, or bass guitar as the gig required. We had one male vocal, and we were in as much demand as the local area and times could create. Oh we sure wanted to find a couple of female vocals - we wanted to keep a clean image, and never could put it together. Thanks for bring me the fond memories. God bless.

I just love this performance! Ellen has several breaks in her voice that make it especially moving. One of her best. The harmony was so very well done. The guys, as usual, were rock solid ... so talented. Please stay together you are so great. It's amazing to me that you can perform so many genres of music so well. I've simply never seen such a diverse, talented, group of musicians. I know its said too often, but you could sing the phone book and I'd be listening and enjoying it! Mama, I love you and your family and hope you can keep them together for a long time to come!

Such a good taste...Your the first Brazilian I've seen listening to them...I love them dearly...

The most wasted of all days is one without a smile. That's why I will listen to at least one song of The Petersens once a day, they always make me smile 😊

There are just not enough adjectives to describe this talented group. Love shines through on each of their faces. Joy, peace, longsuffering, happiness, gentleness, goodness, faith, self-control, kindness, tenderness, appreciation, and they are oh so humble. Whoever gives them a thumbs down just doesn't like Bluegrass music. But even if you hate Bluegrass music, you can still acknowledge their great talent.

I have been overwhelmingly quite amazed with the A Capella group HOME FREE .... but, stumbled across these wonderful Family Group of singers / musicians ..... and I will say much the same can be said for them !!! Brilliant vocal harmonies and competent musicianship blended so beautifully !! God bless and hope to attend a concert nearby.

Only thing to really say is BEAUTIFUL. All of it. The song, the family. Just BEAUTIFUL. ❤️
