Just bought this blindly after going to Saks and smelling Bond no 9 Dubai Platiumn, it was also created by Michael Almaric, same man who made Gucci Pour Homme I and Bentley Absolute. I got 8-10 hrs on skin. It doesn’t project loud, but i have no clue why people say this is not a long lasting fragrance. I think they go nose blind to iso e super, you might not smell it very much but others will, for a long time. This is the best $30 frag I’ve ever bought.

I love this fragrance. Of about 75 fragrance bottles on my shelf, this is a favorite. Masculine, attractive scent. Blind buy that worked out well! Get some and thank me later. 😉 Enjoy your reviews although I may not always agree with your impressions-Subscribed!

Bought it. Love It. Immediately reminded me of Pour Homme. Does not have longevity of course, but for what you pay is a great buy. Pour Homme & Envy were my two favorites.

Love it. Wish it lasted more than an hr on me

I noticed the dry down compared too sauvage elixir is super similar

I love this cologne

I find a lot of similarities between this and Polo Supreme Oud. The main difference between the two is that Supreme Oud has cinnamon which gives it a sweetness that the Bentley lacks. But the pepper and oud notes are very similar between the two.

I don't see it, but it's interesting to me how each of us has a different olfactory experience

It has similarities with Gucci pour homme maybe 70%. The missing 30% is where the original shines. Nice video

I just bought it yday . Disappointing duration and projection for such a great scent .. but a little glycerin will help

@@realscentreview I rest my case. Provided that you are willing to spend $$$$ for the original GPH I, that allusive DNA will remain elusive and in many cases keep you curious. To me, Bentley tortures those who are seeking the HOLY GRAIL of GPH I. I say just save and spend the money. It's worth it!

what I do for weaker fragrances is put on vasoline on my neck. For example, Burberry for Men doesn't perform too well, but vasoline helps.

I don't think they're similar. Bentley Absolute is all about pepper, papyrus and a touch of smoky incense with some woody cedar. It's almost identical to Intense Pepper by Montale, if you know that one. Also very similar to Encre Noire a L'Extreme but without vetiver. And of course, similar to Gucci Pour Homme I. Gucci Guilty Absolute is far more challenging and powerful, too.

@@realscentreview Oh man... I tried so hard but in the end coincidentally blessed with a Rossmann store with 4 different Bentley perfumes as tester! Tried Absolut, Black Edition, Intense and Infinite Intense. I can see why Gucci Pour Homme 2003 [and Absolute] are legendary, it was pretty unique. But at the end of the night I feel like Absolute was my least favorite. Intense was 3rd. Black Edition was my favorite but I need to smell Infinite Intense because it was not sprayed enough. But the opening of Infinite Intense is pretty fine as well. None of them impressed me like "OK, this is it" but if I keep collecting fragrances I think I might buy Black Edition and Infinite Intense. All in all I think since it has a modern approach, Gucci Guilty Absolute is not as challenging to love as Gucci Pour Homme 2003. After the opening ends, Guilty Absolute becomes a wonderful beast, it is most likely for me to be bought in near future. Thank you so much for taking time to reply. Blessings.

I agree, but like you had mentioned, it's not the original and never will be. I have three bottles of the original, two of which hasn't been opened and the other one I use. I also had the Bentley clone and used it to conserve my original. However, I gotta say, the Bentley was so bad that I couldn't compromise and gave it to my nephew. Now, I just use the original. As a side note, the original seems to get better with age and I would never sell.

Maybe not quite the same, but as close as it gets as far as quality clones go. At least, out of the many I have smelled. Most people in my generation will never get to smell GPH1, and at present I think this is the closest they can come.

@@realscentreview I see your point. However, if I were to rate it percentage wise, I would give Bentley a 40-50% rating. I don't know if you've had or have experience with the original especially when it's aged, but they are light years apart to me. Appreciate your content.

@@garysmith8217 I appreciate your contribution. Admittedly, the last time I smelled this was over a year ago. My friend's older brother has a bottle from 2009. GPH '03 has a bit more going on than BFMA in terms of notes and performance, but to my nose the overall scents are very similar.

Incense come from olibanum 👍

they reformulate it , the perfomace is tragic SAVE YOUR MONEY

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT IT IS NO LONGER WORTH BUYING NOW.

I blind bought this one! Ew, gross….don’t like it. I do like the spicy ginger & pepper 🌶️ and the dry woody opening. But, there is a synthetic amber note in the base/background. That, that makes it gross!

I always just thought it was dust particles or camera lens artefacts. I don't live in that apartment anymore, but now we're on the topic, I do remember some strange things happening there.
