Victor Hernandez appeared in court Friday. He’s accused of murdering Maryland mom Rachel Morin. He had been caught at the southern border and kicked out of the country three times in 2023. He then became a 'gotaway' when he re-entered the country unchecked by authorities.
"Gotaways" are illegal immigrants who enter the U.S. illegally and are never apprehended.
Harford County, Maryland’s sheriff has been railing against what he calls a broken border system.
