Where do you get 1000 watts from? That would take 83 amperes from your DC power supply. Your supply wires would be smoking hot in just a few seconds, too. Heating a thin steel blade so it just barely glows in a darkened room isn't even close to 1000 watts.

@@moking8095 The reason that I made my comment was to add some reality to the thing for those folks who thought it was a great success. Maybe they won't try to do the same thing and end up disappointed. I have put a lot of effort into my own videos and web pages on this same subject and I try very hard to be completely honest with all of my results.

да, я ставлю варисторы, дешевле и в обе стороны... неполярны они 18в или 27в на затвористок и 480в на стокисток 600вольтового IRF840N, подавать на затвор сигнал через 1..2омный звоногасящий резистор надо, также как кондесатор от аккума заряжать... иначе там ВЧ ударно несколько периодов в затворе видно на осцилограмме на каждом фронте, высотй аш с саи 12в управляющего меандра с микрухи драйверазатворов Мы в детстве думали тоже, что запаралелив 10транзисторов получишь десятикратно полученному тобой с одного, а залив в колбу десятикратно дорогого исходного реагента- на весь год себялекартвом обеспечишь, а такбывает либо не всегда, либо не сразу, и обычно требует дообучения по этому поводу...

IRF840N have a diode with Vforward=0.6V and tonoff=160ns and i connect to dran ans source pins of IRF840N external extra diode -ultrafast with Vforward=0.4V and tonoff=60ns, after it, amp starts to explode when twice power output, and sometime it was diodes burned , but MOSFETs is OK... diodes cost less sometime... and externall diodes heats notably, but triodes beame cold. No any needs for such a big radiator for that circuit on video... it never will be 100C... MOSFETs probably would buns away, there fal below than 1000Wt, but that magical choke 0:30 will become lower size because of 0.5mm wire will act as a melting Fuse
