FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this Western, a drifter with no name (Clint Eastwood) wanders into a small town, where his gun-slinging abilities are in high demand. When the drifter rides into Lago, he is met with incredulity and disapproval by the townspeople. But once he shows his skills with a pistol, the locals realize he may be able to help them fend off a band of criminals who have been terrorizing the town. He agrees to help the townspeople, but does so with his own secret agenda.

The beer automatically refilling itself was a nice touch. It symbolizes The Man With No Name refilling the citizens with hope. Or it’s a typical continuity error. 🤣

And he miraculously has two right hands. He is holding his beer when the cretin starts drawing his knife; then his hand is by his gun, then he's drinking again, then his hand is again next to his gun. Finally, he puts the beer down. I guess he put the other arm/hand away somewhere.
50yrs later still great cinematography, concept and editing and self direction.

6' 4", clear blue eyes with that Eastwood squint/smile , lean and mean...when I was a kid ..I saw this movie in re-runs and thought Clint Eastwood was so so cool. You gotta admit - he is one of the best actors in the day back then to play a western cowboy.

That's not Tank Murdock, who was played by Walter Barnes in EWWBL. It's John Quade, who played one of The Black Widows motorcycle gang.
