While holding a different gun, equipping a kenny mod then taking out Kenny grants a rapid fire glitch. We always want to use Magnum mod so we unequip and re-equip

Cool run! Never had the game crash to desktop for me. If it affects all speedrunners then it could be LiveSplit or the capturing software triggering this.

Yeah every one was experiencing crashing. Ironically, I hardly ever had them! Only would get one consistently when I updatate my CPU, after Sweezy running straight through the portal. Only thing that seemed to make it happen was speed and if you wasted 2sec it didnt crash

@@anaussieplays763 Really strange behavior. They did release a new patch 4 weeks ago that patched a lot of problems. May be it would help in this case as well.

@Pseudo Nym i thought so! My game auto updated which removed the downpatch we were running on. It helped aid us losing interest. I watched a few of these runner lose a run from a stupid crash. The worst was during Nipulon for a lot of people either during the fight or spawning his office teleporter.

34:23 kenny is not happy about how wast he is going

the parts where your frames get lower, like 11:53 slump 1 for example when you phase into the slums tunnel, is lowering the frames a required thing to get through?

Not required but allowed as it's almost frame perfect to crouch and jump at the same time. There's also a line up to crouch and walk off the pipes above to get through but obviously bit slower that way

@thomasbarrett1858 superslide is PC only far as I know.. initial release had both actions seperate so we're able to add the keybind save. The devs were ruthless with their patches after we discovered most of these skips. We're able to downpatch on PC so not sure what "latest patch" runs are going to look like

It's a PC only mechanic. The OG release had the slide and dodge on seperate bindings so we're able to copy the files into the newer patched game so you can spam dodge while you slide

Didnt take too long. Many people in the speedrun community shared skips and tricks to get routing sorted asap.

Yeah i just looked back! Encoding issues no doubt. Just dropped it from 60fps capture to 30 hopefully that sorts it out. We are using an FPS limiter for some tricks but yes theres quite a bit of frame drop from the encoder unfortunately

Changing guns and cutscenes disable the rapid fire glitch that we enable by switching the mod on while having a different gun equipped. When you switch to kenny its rapid fire.

It's tempting now a new WR is being verified! The struggle is trying to get consistent Bounty5k skips which my upgraded cpu wont do anymore! A restricted category is going to be introduced so runner dont have to try such inconsistent frame tricks
