High Intensity Training (attempt) on Inline skates: Part due

Спорт

I keep exploring the benefits of using a metronome for inline skating workouts. The result was much better this time than the first time: it wasn't raining. But, unfortunately, I was pretty tired, as I had already been skating for an hour. Something to improve for the next time.

Working hard! The metronome idea is phenomenal. I bet theres some awesome way to use timing with wizard movements. Love to see the ingenuity

Exactly mate! That was my initial idea to use it to make wizard moves sharper and quicker. It was just easier to make HIT kind of videos first. But you are right, and I already tried that. It's pretty hard, because you need to match your moves with ticks of metronome, basically like in dance. I tried once but result was too bad for a video. But will keep trying.

You gotta have in mind that your tiring yourself with the slower paces before reaching the 180 bpm mark. You should make the metronome's progression faster or even start already at 180. I think I wouldn't have the required coordination for such fast pushing, though! 😆

Hey Niko, I'm a roller skater too (ice hockey dominantly). What location is this? I roller around Sydney too so I'll probably bump into you some day.

Hi Luigi, this is netball courts in Meadowbank. A lot of inline and roller skater go there, I even met a hockey player there who was practicing his routines. I love ice hockey, incredibely dynamic game. I used to have my own hockey stick and a puck back in the day.

The place gets super packed at a certain hours. But it’s so large that there is a spot for everyone.

Hi mate. My biggest problem is that I never plan when to skate and shoot a video. It’s more an impulse driven rather than by schedule. I skate in Meadowbank, darling harbour sometimes, and Glebe too. Where do you skate usually?

Great area for skating. I live closer to CBD now but still go to meadowbank and Olympic park for skating. Most of the streets are skatable there, which is not something one could expect in inner west suburbs
