High-end Steak Lunch - 5 Star Hotel in Tokyo
Visiting Teppanyaki Akasaka in InterContinental-ANA Hotel in Tokyo to have a Superior (A5) Wagyu Sirloin Steak of 300g and their signature garlic rice.
I initially ordered the steak to be "medium" but asked the chef later to prepare the second half of the steak "well done"

I love high-class teppanyaki in Japan, for the experience and service. The steak itself is an interesting departure from the traditional view of steak in the West. It’s more broiled than grilled. The cooking surface isn’t nearly as hot as what we use in the west, so the steak is cooked at a lower temp. However, the quality and marbling of the meat still takes the day, while the texture will be a bit different than what most western steak fans will be accustomed to. I highly recommend it; if you can get to Japan definitely try it. But you need to go to a high class spot and make sure to select the higher quality grades of beef for your meal

@@oppai_sause I just returned to Germany and I am jealous of you living in Japan. You have so many great things in Japan, that I will be missing here! I immediately noticed that when I had to take a train from airport back to my hometown. It had freaking 4 hours delay and the rail company staff were unbelievably rude to all the people complaining. It felt like arriving in a 3rd world country.☹ I hate the Deutsche Bahn and try avoid going by train whenever possible. Glad that we have Autobahn in Germany! In Japan instead it was a pleasure to go by train. Always on time. Never missed any connecting train. Good IC card system with friendly staff and good overall service...👍 And I know, the grass always looks greener on the other side... But don´t be jealous and be proud of what you have!
