Tomb King charriots are super mobile with the combination of Open Order and Reserve Move. They can Quick Turn after moving (normal and reserve) so can position their facing as needed, and the chariot rules mean they can shoot 360 (no scope). My personal favorite is backing up 4", pivoting up to 90, shooting something, reserve move 8", then pivoting again. They're a good harassment unit that you send in to finish off weakened units.

In all rulebooks, the first number is the front. Only Tomb Scorpions have that base written 75x50, instead the other way round like warmachines... and if you base them with wider frontage, you allow more full attacks against it.

My first few games were spacing shooting against non shooting armies and winning on points. Thought the game sucked at first but it’s just the opponents I was playing

people are sleeping on putting necrotect into their tomb gaurd, double their attacks and full rerolls? yes please.

Saying "he might die" and "he needs to make a leadership check" is nowhere near enough for me to not put a 55 point model into my lists to more than double the hitting power of tomb guard lol. They're in all of my lists. As are royal heralds so you can reroll leadership for them and the priests with arise. And my will be done. And the king/prince allows better chance for leadership checks anyway.

Imo, if you're not going to make the tomb guard extra killy with a necrotect, just take spear and shield warriors. Save the points.

@curticusmaximus king and prince don't improve his leadership IIRC. He must test "on their own leadership" or some such which means no general leadership for you. Same thing for ARISE. I'm happy to be wrong but am pretty sure that's how it works.

Absolutely beatiful board and fun game!

I think chariots are fantastic but you have to really lean into them to make them work.

I'm going to pur my foot wizard in a unit of skelton skirmishers, gives them good movement and some protection, will see how it turns out 2moz.

Please cut out the "stream starting soon minutes"

Normal infantry needs to be flanked by a unit with at least unit strength 5, heavy infantry by a Unit with at least 10

I get the feeling Only Luca took de difficult terrain penalties for the river. Nice movement battle.

Good bat rep. I think people really underestimate the knowledge to be gained by watching a movement game. Positioning and posturing has always been important in Fantasy. Yet it seems like some folks expect y'all to just make every unit kiss straight down the middle.

Isn't the Scorpions base wide instead of long? On a 75x50mm. Or is that a typo?

Unfortunately, I think you’re right that the 75mm is its frontage. This awful because the scorpion is about 100mm long and hangs over so far that you can’t align with anything. Very silly decision by GW in my opinion

@@hollishill5494 50 wide has always been too little for the scorpion. Legs need to be in a weird position to fit, srinked and barely touching the edge of the base, like tiptoeing. Scorpions dont walk like that. A wider base allows for a better and more comfortable position of the legs, specially now that the models have a ball joint.

​@detorrV2 totally agree. Anyone who has ever assembled a scorpion has had to be creative with bending legs or positioning it to make those fit onto the base. Hence why a lot of scorps are models coming up out of thr ground.

I tried TOW and it just doesn't flow as good as Age of Fantasy: Regiments. But I still will watch these two play ANYTHING at all. 😂

I have noo ideas what is going on. Never played table top. Only the video game...kinda understanding the attacks.

Skeleton horsemen/archers have the same base as always, you dont need to rebase them.

You should have played 1 more close combat round guys.... Turn 5, turn 6, turn 6. You only did 2. Would have changed the result into a win.

@@MountainMiniatures Yep, 100% sure, (I double checked after your comment). Steve charged bottom of turn 5. You only did 2 rounds of combat. Luka started the game. Steve charged, wiffed and killed like 3 and a few crumble. Luka Turn 6 he heals all bar 1. Steve kills a bunch in second round (still Lukas turn) and about 11 crumble during his combat round. And you ended it there with counting if it was under 25%. You should have done Steves turn 6 combat round. Would have either wiped Lukas unit, or at the very least brought it below 25%, which would have meant a Steve win either way I believe. Luka also should have had shooting and magic though on his turn 6, but I dont think his magic or shooting would have done any difference considering range and Steve would have moved his units on his turn 5 (which I think was his intention). Steve did NOT roll his rally roll for his Phoenix guards though I dont think, which if he had failed that roll would have meant Luka win. I think a turn counter and less rush at the end would be nice in the future. Good battle rep though, even though it felt a bit like a tourney game. (Except most tourneys I attend have mirrored terrain, would be cool if you guys tried that out once btw).

How much crying can happen in a game?

Plenty of laughter, open discussion, and table talk, yet folks are complaining that the game/stream was ruined or lame. Weird.

@@jolamber I dont think you understand that if i had done anything but played the way i did, i would be intentionally throwing the game. I play the orc way for the Orc community, the bestmen way for the beastmen community , the bret way for the bret community. and i ll do same for the High Community. doesnt matter how many people want to see them lose, they get the same respect i give every army. Luka and both said in the video many times you cant be reckless with elves, you have to play very cautiously of your throwing the game.

@@jolamber yes, because new players wouldn't understand what was about to happen and why. Luka knew, we discussed it before the stream. We discussed if he lined up on the wall i would be forced to charge in and throw the game or to play cagey and fight for points. either way the stream "was ruined" in my opinion. Rush in and throw, or wait for an opportunity to gain some points, but slowing the stream down for a crawl. You obviously know which one i went for. its something i dont like to do on the streams because inexperienced players dont always follow the what and why.

just throw 3xflying chariots + 2x+dragons and lets see how you remove tk in 1/2 turn. Both lists are incredibly weak.
