Take that heart, core it. Slice along the main seam on the side, so you're left with two flat-ish chunks. Take ALLL the little white "heart strings" out, so you just have two flat-ish, thin sections of heart meat. Salt well. Stick it in a bag with lime juice and cilantro, no more than 45 mins (the meat will start to grey at that point). Get your grill so hot you almost burn your hand opening the lid. Sear each chunk on each side, JUST till the edges get a bit charred. Slice thin, across the grain. Put that on a corn tortilla with homemade pico de gallo, and a bit of queso fresco. Corazon carne asada style my friends. You'll never eat better!
Respectful Hunters. Always give thanks. Well done Men.💯👍🙏

The shots he said missed in the video actually weren’t mine they were another hunters in his basin. I was in a different basin. I was by myself and didn’t have the chance or resources to video my shot. Def hunters everywhere with pack horses and llamas. Sorry the video didn’t show what u wanted it to but I assure u it was a very challenging hunt with all the pressure and the shots made by us we’re good shots. Thanks for watching

Enjoyed the video, the beautiful country. It’s a two edged sword, if they wanted a more quality hunt it would take too long to get a tag then to hunt regularly you have to endure orange It take too long to get tags in better units especially for non resident hunters. But what do you do. 😂. Congrats on both tagging out.
Congrats, sweet camo pattern on the rifle. What caliber? That thing dropped that buck. 2 good bucks, Congrats to both.

Great video guys, it kind of drew you in and made you feel you were there. Congrats. I’m two weeks out on a 7mm prc and will be running suppressed all the time. I’m curious what length barrel you went with? This is a huge topic of discussion with this caliber as I’m sure you’re aware. I actually thought it said Hill country rifle, that’s the builder of my gun lol as that’s why I watched it. Didn’t realize it was High country rifle. Don’t know if you Chronographed your rounds but if so if you could share that it would be appreciated

I always say October is the toughest time to hunt mature mule deer. Thanks for watching!
Way to get with it gents! One thing I don’t get is guys who put in so much time and effort into a hunt just to sit on their thumbs at the top of the ridge hopefully something happens… I’m all about pounding timber I’ve taken many nice bucks still hunting threw thick timber… I am not one to sit and let things happen lol I guess that’s why I have only sat in a tree stand for 2 minutes lmao killed my biggest whitetail with a bow that sit tho but yeah I have to leave it all out there and go home knowing I pushed my self to the limit! Mad props for grinding and filling that freezer! Stay safe wish you all good health and happiness ✊🏽
@MuleyFreak
Жыл бұрын
There's a time and a place for pounding timber, but opening day with animals moving isn't the time for it, but it's a free country and to each their own! We wish everyone the best!
780 yards is over 4/10ths of a mile. Can't say I'm a fan of such long range shooting. It's an accomplishment yes, but is it sporting and respectful of the animal? Getting closer is more frustrating and challenging to be sure, but that makes success that much more satisfying.
What was with that free roaming pack horse?

The day before season opens you’ll see bucks and bulls everywhere.Overnight it looks like a truck stop parking lot the next a.m.,& there isn’t an animal for MILES, Gotta keep at it and let all the other hunters push em to ya.
