I really enjoy the hunters were an animal isn't harvested. Super honest and it shows how truly difficult backcountry hunts are

My friends and I made these high country bow hunts for thirty years. We used finger tabs at first, that's how old we are. I can say with authority, I came home without filling my tag more times than not. Successful or not not, each year was a treasured memory I would not trade. This reminds me of that. Thanks

Amen! Archery hunting is a far bigger challenge than rifle...and the reason I started carrying a bow instead of a rifle. The memories are awesome for any kind of hunting, though.

High country hunting is a love/hate relationship but is worth it in the end whether you tag out or not. It is a great experience and you guys captured it well. Good job!

@@GOHUNT Its like that old saying, "Thats why its called Hunting and Fishing and not bagging and catching." The only thing this excellent film is unable to accurately represent is the horrible freeze dried farts that build up in your sleeping bag all night.

Capturing the reality of the majority of hunts us sportsman will encounter over a lifetime, and that doesn't mean it was unsuccessful! Great film and positive outlooks! Cheers.

Love the film. Can relate on the weather pushing you out early. Archery can be frustrating, but love it!!

Love that GoHunt and others are becoming more comfortable producing content without a harvest. It makes hunting media so much more relatable and realistic. Also makes the harvests that much more exciting!

I'm glad to see that more hunting shows are comfortable showing unsuccessful hunts. It represents true hunting so much more as most times we are out in the field, we are unsuccessful.

So funny story, I was donating plasma for my first time while watching this, and the compound used to return my blood ended up giving me a reaction and I about passed out. Guess I’m a wimp. Colorado and mule deer. My two favorites!

It is so awesome to see a real hunt. The time, money and work involved in a hunt like this and add a camera to film it, WOW. It also tells a great story on why it is called hunting not killing.

Gotta love the high country mulies. The views and scenery are a definite plus

Many of my hunts end without a harvest. It is the experience that keeps us returning year after year.

Keep up the good work on these filmed hunts. Look forward to watch them all the time.

This type of hunt is climbing towards the top of my must dos for the coming years.

Looking forward to my 1st western hunt ever this yr. I hope to harvest something but the ability to go out and enjoy life with 2 of my best friends is what I'm really looking forward to the most.

This will be my first year hunting high country mule deer with my bow! Cant wait for all of the highs and lows that inevitably come with it! Great film guys!

That’s reality of hunting too.Thanks for sharing that story in such beautiful country. I hope to one day hunt in Colorado, I have already eaten 3 small game licenses to build 3 points in elk, and deer 🦌 and two points for pronghorn. 1st rifle elk and probably 4th rifle deer 🦌 and archery 🏹 pronghorn is my initial plan for when I am able to finally cash in on a Western Big Game Trip. At least when it comes to Colorado. Just to be able to get out there and enjoy those beautiful views and glass up a few bucks 🦌 let alone putting a stalk on one would be considered a win in my book for a first hunt.

Really makes you appreciate how big the great outdoors is and how good it is to be young enough to trek into it.

Still a great trip when you're out in country like that!

That is definitely a different type of hunt than what I'd experience here in Northeast Texas. The experience of the hunt would be the treasure and a harvest would be the icing on the cake! 👍🏼 Good stuff!
