+H-Bomber Im sure if TOgashi continues, there will be a point the 4 meet up and travel together. But as of now, the next 1-2 arcs are about kurapika and leorio, like the last 2 were about Gon and Killua. Im hoping the current arc Togashi stopped on is long. AT this point, id take hxh once a year for 20-40 pages if it means to keep it going. Thats how much i love the story and its better than getting nothing now. I love an adventure with them, but this time, with Nen and in the Dark continent..aka Demon World Thats why i loved the hunter exam, cuz the 4 were together trying to overcome obstacles and character development

I think its because Yusuke spent most of their time roasting Kuwabara in school so having another person who agrees with him probably makes him happy. In terms of personality Hiei got along most well with Yusuke. Kurama may have understood Hiei better but Yusuke and Hiei thought alike many different times.

I think Hiei actually likes him. He allows Kuwabara to talk trash to him and although he says it in a sarcastic way he is usually the one explaining things to Kuwabara. I love on the boat where Kuwabara says "hey where did all the guys we were fighting go" and Hiei says, "they are already dead" like he is used to Kuwabara asking stupid questions at that point but admits he is strong.

I loved throughout the series Hiei always takes the time to insult Kuwubara. Even Kurama makes a remark to himself ''To think one day these two could be in-laws.' Considering Kuwubara is in love with his twin sister, Yukina. Yukina is either genuinely oblivious or really good at acting that way. As there's hints that she knows more then she lets on.

Yukina told Hiei WHY she was seeking her brother...and to give him his tear....Why even tell Hiei..and give one of the tears their mother produced from their birth. It's more like reminding of him of what he had has to do....the promise...

It's similar then to what he did in the manga - he wasn't quite as wordy as anime Hiei is, and was fond of just saying "Feh!" and leaving it at that.

You get to see over the course of the show how Kuwabara slowly grows on Hiei, especially once he sees how happy he(Kuwabara) makes Yukina. After Mazuku Yusuke kills Sensui and the gang leave demon world and return home, an unconscious Hiei is being piggybacked on Kuwabara lol

This group easily had one of the greatest friendship dynamics in all of anime

for a calm smart demon kurama scares the crap out of me he transforms into a demonic fox he uses a razor sharp plant as a weapon and he makes a tree that sucks the life outta people on top of that he wanted to get his hands on the chapter black video at one point for a relaxed guy who wears pink hes kind of twisted but you cant help but love his sense of humor like when he bleated like a sheep (baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha) best part ever

I love this anime. It's right up there with my other favs. Code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha.

Hiei acts like he doesn't care but deep down he cares

What makes this show stand out from all the rest is the chemistry between the main characters. Each different, one common goal and a butt ton of laughs to go around.

Honestly, I love YYH. At a time when I was starting to feel burnt out over DBZ, this really drew me in with its plot, its characters, its attacks that actually had variation aside from "energy ball" and "energy beam". Perhaps one of my favorite aspects of this anime was the myriad of characters it introduced and allowed us to see in action. My only complaint is that it ended perfectly because now we'll never get a sequel (and I have no desire to see a reboot considering that they could only foul it up).

My point is that HxH is from the same author and it shows, He's improved as a writer in literally every way from characters, plot, powers, and world building. It's like he looked back at YYH said "ok, what was the stuff people liked about this?" and repackaged them into something new and then expanded on it with new stuff.

The series has a better written story than all the Dragon ball series.
