I've beaten single maps with HDest without dying, I've also done small to medium mappacks with the No Failure Run title. Today, I opt to fight through an entire megawad with Hideous Destructor.
Interestingly, Goldeneye Doom was the first megawad I've ever finished with Hideous Destructor. Even further back before the days I journeyed through Plutonia and Valiant with HDest, so this is pretty much both a nostalgic run for me and a test on how much I still remember.
Now, Goldeneye Doom might not be as hard as other megawads, being filled with more lower-tier enemies than the big hitters, but rest assured HDest made sure well that even the cannon fodders are a force to be reckoned with. This still won't be an easy peasy run.
