It's simple, SmallAnt is actually a deity who can time travel (however they can only time travel back by 9 hours, any further back is not possible)

Well, coming back 2 years later, a lot of things changed. -instadeath glitches -seeker counts outside odyssey -no captures -no hints -only 4 players -no unique costumes -no sub-area invincibility -seeker timer -only one seeker additionally, there were no different gamemodes: -no teams -no time travel -no gravity mechanics -no custom kingdoms -no freeze tag -no sardines -no size changes I've been here since the start. Even though hide and seek has somewhat ended, it's been a wild ride. Thank you crafty.

Not gonna lie...this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen in Odyssey haha!! Absolutely fantastic :D

Everyone chasing Smant while running on water is honestly one of the coolest things I’ve seen.

Honestly, CJ and Tanner chilling and goofing around in cloud sub area in Snow Kingdom was my favourite part. It was really funny and felt weirdly wholesome

Fir really was just vibing that whole first round while cj was having a crisis

So glad they changed it from seeking time to hiding time, makes infinitely more sense.

If I had a nickel for every time smant and cj hid in the same spot in a subarea I would have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s kind that of surprising that it happened twice.

I think everyone could agree that watching all 3 hide and seek videos was so fun and that we wanna see more!

Smallant and cjya just having fun in Snow Kingdom was everything I needed after a hard day's work

For the seaside spot, could you have used the pole to get on top of the lighthouse?

WAIT LOL YOU'RE RIGHT I FORGOT. I was thinking the kingdom was in pre-world peace seaside, meaning that the pole wouldn't be there. But you're right, it was haha. It wouldn't of changed the video much though, the whole point of that bit was that the idea was actually really dumb and easily avoidable. Heck I could have even survived if I just grabbed the moon in the subarea along the way. At the time I didn't realize it but it replenishes your air fully.

@@Fir I'm pretty sure you could have made it even without the moon, using the seaweed with bubbles that give you an air bubble when you ground pound them. As no speedrun uses them, using a fish if they go there at all, there's no reason you would have known that, but the tunnel is definitely designed to be traversable by an average player without the fish, and it makes for a decent challenge.

I love how in every one of these multiplayer videos CJ has given himself away/became a seeker at least once because he got bored (bonking and revealing himself, accidentally killing himself, etc.) his reaction to it is always super cute too :P Great video, btw. Loved the commentary and it was super helpful for understanding rules (I watched CJ and Smallant’s videos first, but I finally understood the rules after your score explanations and play-by-play for the timing after each kingdom)! :D

I gotta say, watching this gives me some nostalgia... Hide and Seek Tag was my favorite game as a kid, and this just captures the feel perfectly.

3:46 cj screaming is always the piece de resistance of hide and seek, but the chatter saying “HOT FOOT IT / MAKE LIKE MY DAD” is extra beautiful

These games are the single best SMO content in years. Please, please do more of this for a couple months at least.

The strat is to seek first, so if you are good you can have the perfect time and be found last. And you won’t have to worry about all of the other rounds
