No I like this, it's always has been a thing. Optimize games for consoles but let PC players do their things That's how PCs were the best bang for buck in gaming. Nowadays devs lock their settings because of cheats and PCs end up being bad performers. We need devs to allow us to change more of these settings.

Got an issue from something I’ve changed on one of your previous vids. I’ve enabled whisper mode and went in and found mw2 file in program settings and adjusted the fps up to 60 as I just want a stable 60 frames but it’s still stuck at the default 40 fps. I’ve done the same for mw2019 and it works a treat. I only have Warzone 2 btw not the actual mw2. Any help would be massively appreciated 🙏

Nice video. First i did a benchmark before doing any of this and compared results after. What I can say is my cpu and gpu time went down both and my overall fps was better without 1 singular stutter so this is a MUST. Gonna try your filter video for better visuals so i can see if i lose any fps on that. Earned a subscriber

Disabling async compute only helps with very old GPU's and it should be enabled if you're running anything released in the past 5 years. Clutter distance also has no impact on performance as is with pretty much all the settings that only affect static objects. You can also force Resizable Bar on from Nvidia Profile Inspector which can give up to a 25% performance boost. I personally got 15% more frames and my friend got 25%.

@@kjelllvstad1260 First you need to enable it from BIOS if you have compatible hardware. And yes you need the profile inspector to get access to the more hidden settings. There are youtube videos on how to enable it.

Beware one of the 1st things I changed was the render workout and I was testing for a month trying to get smooth gameplay. The last thing I tried was putting it back to original and my gameplay is so perfect now. If you just can’t get it right you know what to do 😊

You also have consider fps stability, it's much better having 60 stable fps compared to 100 but unstable. So you can track enemys in a fluid motion without getting micro statters and imput lags

If i'm on 90-100 FPS before all of this, how much improvement will this provide? Maybe like 10-15 if i had to guess

Did this and on Warzone 1440p I went from about 100fps to 140fps😭😭 I also switched off Fedility CAS and used the sharpening thing on Nvidia panel and my game is smooth as butter now🙆🏾‍♂️

And Task Manager details high or real-time priority if you can handle real-time, I pretty much lock frames on my 3060 in WZ and MP on Full High, about 15-30Ms of latency, normally 15-20!!! @ProBigMac Make sure your 100% updated, in Windows Update click advanced update options boxes 1, 2, and 4 should be checked don't check use on metered Connection unless you must, do all those updates, grab CCleaner ddo the free premium and then buy it, Save yourself the hassle, do th3 update drivers and it will fix issues you weren't even aware off that windows will never tell you as it's not their job to update 3rd party drivers, it's lame but it's how it is, You cam use CCleaner for registry fixes which will clean you up quite nicely amd many other features that will eliminate headaches, not trying to sell you on it but as. Windows Dev it will help anyone who doesn't know the hidden stuff. Likely you're not updated, and it's telling you that you don't t have permission that you're not an admin, just find and do all updates and you'll be able to go into task manager details after opening cod or any game as you cam do this for any and all games set priority to high and you will see a tremendous difference, just don't go changing other priorities

@ProBigMac OH, it's more than a little. I got a clients RX580 locking 120hz, and he streams from it.... It does ALOT!!! Just do the free premium trial, and you'll decide whether it'll change your PC life and if you buy it!!! Even as a Dev, certain things just are okay to make life easier, especially on PCs lol

Any idea why my FPS is noticeably lower in Battle Royale modes than in DMZ? Some locations tank FPS in BR but it's fine in DMZ. Even me shooting inside buildings often causes FPS drops, but it doesn't happen in DMZ at all, even when there is a lot of stuff going on. I'm going to try your settings and see if I can at least gain 10 FPS extra, that would be minimum for me to actually compete in gunfights.

When you play battle Royale it puts more load on your cpu and if your fps drop a lot when shooting that might be a hardware problem that might need sum upgrading

@@brandon_5297 I don’t lose FPS when I shoot nor do I have stutter, I just lose FPS drastically at Marshlands, Almazrah City, and there’s another Poi I can’t think of. I have an i7 10700f that would run flawlessly in WZ1 along with a 3070. Don’t see how it’s a hardware issue if I can play PUBG and Fortnite at 145fps+ in 1440p but in this crappy game I get around 120

​@@brandon_5297 But why would it put more load if there are less models to render and scripts to run, compared to DMZ? Load is similar in both modes, when I'm running MSI Afterburner. Upgrading isn't an option here unfortunately because of high prices and low wages. And I don't want to upgrade just for one game. Apex/Overwatch 2 I get around 170FPS, but in WZ2 BR modes 50-70, What's also weird, I found FidelityFX also works better in DMZ. But in BR modes, Intel XeSS gives more FPS. However, XeSS in DMZ gives less. IMO, devs should optimize it better, official requirements are low - forcing ppl to buy 12gen+ Intel CPU isn't good. I wouldn't be surprised if it's caused by fast "fixes" for some crashes etc.

hi i got a 6 core i5 2.8 and 1660ti 5 6gb 16gbram i have changed filter nvidia and ads and even off with nvidia i got 80% on cpu and about 20% on gpu any idias on how to even it out so cpu is not used mas much

I recommend setting rendererworkercount to one less that yout cpu cores, especially with 4 core cpu's

Ryzen 5600x here. RenderWoorkerCount - Tested 3,4,5,6 cores. On 6 cores the in game benchmark gives the best score. On 5 the game crashes a lot.

What about thhe VideoMemoryScale below RendererWorkerCount, as far as i know changing default values increased fps in warzone 1. Got any tips for that value?

There's something seriously wrong with youtube's algorithm.. u should have atleast a million subs bro.. Ur tips and tweaks have helped me a lot. Keep up the good work..there are tons of videos on youtube that make optimization videos but your videos helped me the most.

In warzone1 I have 90 fps, in warzone2 it's like 50 and its so bad to play this game even in low settings, when it's not smooth

Someone else said the latest update makes it like wz1 config file so set to half number of cores is the best for performance. I had it set to 8 but have changed it to 4. He also "proves" it in menu, where initially he cant get more than 124fps with iy set to 8, but on 4 he gets 150+. I literally can't really see difference tbh.

I tried half cores and up to all cores. All cores get more frames. These KZreadrs who made another bait video shooting down their first video on half core was baiting us for views don’t fall for it. Always do your own testing.

@@FourEyesGames I am using a 11700K (8 physical cores) and I have tested everything between 4 and 8 cores (by using CapFrameX and also the in game benchmark) and my findings were either 6 or 7 cores give the best results (the differences are not so much on the average FPS, but on the 1% lows and the 0,1% lows).

#1: in NvInspector: make sure you have the "Profiles" field set to your target game. #2: Click on "Apply Changes" once. Optional: Then click on "Apply Changes" a second time. #3: Exit NvInspector (close app). #4: Start Game.

Badly messed it up for me, had to set it all back to original values.

man, I've just got r5 5600 and rx5700xt and warzone stutters like hell. I tried mem_scale 0.55 and lower, all possible thread options (6,4,2,-1). SAM (reBar) enabled and disabled. Minimal settings, but it's still stuttering very much. Is it just me or devs just killed Warzone with updates?

Try G-SYNC and V-SYNC on in Control Panel. It works for me. There are more players who help it a lot!

i have a 3070 and tried this config and made my game go into scan and repair now i cant log onto the game lol

Very strange. These settings have me some really nice gains

I wouldn’t recommend putting down any of the distance ones especially in warzone, with all the distances set to max it’s easier to see players further away too. For multiplayer it’s prob fine but wouldn’t recommend for warzone if you want the best visibility

I have a i7 10700k with 8 cores and when I change from 8 cores to 4 I get more fps.

Definitely lost FPS doing this. Either this video or the other recent video did it

I have a 4090 and an i7-12700k I'm CPU bottlenecked 99% is there anyway to either fix or lower that number other than the obvious upgrading my CPU which isn't really an option right now

Increase the quality settings (e.g. Texture Resolution, Shader Quality) in game, put more load on the GPU. In your case it will always be a CPU bottleneck as your GPU is extremely powerful.

@@michaelfrizz6925 Also, you can try to disable RBAR (Mainboard UEFI) and set PCIE Gen Switch manually to 4x (instead of auto).
