When my younger brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer I suggested he take MDMA or even got a little high on something stronger - after all its not as if getting addicted would add to his problems. He said that he had tried medical weed but that the transient relief from knowledge of his impending death was accompanied by waves of terrible realization as if for the first time that his death was imminent. While I have never been diagnosed with something so terrible I understood that feeling of waves of horrible realization. I felt it after he died where for most of the day I could push the fact that he was gone out of my mind and then it would hit me: he's gone. I've felt that after the loss of my best girlfriend S.S.I. after she decided that actually she wanted to split up and for us to never come in to contact again. While I knew she wasn't dead in some ways it might have been easier to deal with. That pain and abject misery at her absence in my life would go when I followed Tove Lo's advice and stayed high all the time to forget I was missing her - but then the pain, as your song says to my heart, comes in waves, when she's not there...

This song is such a banger .beautiful all the way. Hits hard. Jst saying but I'm speed demon and I got pull over and thrown in jail this morning.. wife made my bail and had to make a deal with the Colorado judge. 1st options was pay a steep find and do 4 months In jail .2nd option was 6 points on my D.L with 254 dollar, a d 120 days of no speeding. I got a lead foot . And a good fast driver. Hopefully I have do good for , 4 months. Ik what every got to say. We all get caught someday. Minds took years. But they got me. I love hitting corner hard or harder

I always call it melodic techno but it's definitely more on the darker/dreamy/trancy side of the genre. Just in case you're looking for similar stuff you might try Anyma, ARTBAT, Kevin de Vries, KAS:ST (some of them), Tale of Us, Colyn. Cheers! -Thomas
