Roy Jones Jr fought like that. He made that move kind of famous, but I don't think he invented it. You should watch some of his highlights. They are definitely the most enjoyable highlights to watch.

The guy in the white shirt is having problems getting inside. The teacher is staying on the outside because he realizes that he could take an uppercut.

I noticed that when you're sparring you don't occupy the outside position with your right foot outside his left but you still dominate. Does having your right foot inside his left make it easier to land your right jab?

Hi! Can you help me? I need a opinion. I'm a southpaw and some times when i throw a left cross or left hook i need to step in with my left foot to have the distance to reach him. It is normal/correct or it's bad doing that step? Thank's

@ajteel when your slick and have decent head movement you can get away with something like that. Plus i'm sure he has a video or two on that question so check out his vids. I sometimes do it to set up traps. like if an orthodox throws his jab and I could time it... slip to the outside right upper, left straight, clean it up with a hook. A better question would be how he can get away with switching from orthodox to southpaw without getting tagged... timing? experience? skill? all the above?

why do you keep your lead hand low? i thought that was frowned upon because you could get hit all the time from an orthodox jab?
