Thinking back on it seeing it like this, Meimei is way to smart. She knows fully aware the Jujutsu society is trash, instead of working for them they are working for her services as a sorcerer. Everyone else was brainwashed to believe its their responsibility to eliminate curses and have some hero complex like Geto but nah Meimei saw it for what it was, she knew they needed her more so then her needing them. Thus they had very little power control over her. For Geto and Gojo the realization came at a hefty price with one of being beyond repair and the other holding back because said person.

My understanding of Japanese is still in diapers, but when I was playing I noticed that the Digimon conversation was changed. Now I confirm it and it's not daijobu T_T
