A tremendous video Sam! I got homesick after I've watched your video. I grew up in Tomohon and migrated to Germany 52 years ago. But I still have a Minahasan house in Tomohon where you can freely behold the volcanos Lokon and Mahawu and also the mount Tampusu from the balcony directly. Thank you very much for this NatGeo quality of video

Manadonese here, thank you for making a video about my province. North Sulawesi is indeed underrated which is sad because we have so many beautiful things to explore here and a lot of people still don't really know about it (Indonesians included). Hoping that someday more people can acknowledge the beauty of North Sulawesi too.

this is well made, I am from North Sulawesi and only climbed easy mountains like Mt. Mahawu and did some easy hikes around Minahasa. But i gotta say that my land is very blessed with the magnificent terrains everywhere.

Ah how wonderful! What a beautiful landscape right? Mighty volcanos and jungle 🙌 I was here too. I went from the Togean Islands to Gorontalo, left my sick boyfriend there so he could heal from his earinfection, and then went on a bus to Tomohon area, hiked around Lake Tondano and also climbed a volcano. I wish I could remember the name though! After that I stayed in Manado and Bitung for a while before embarking on a Pelni ship back to Gorontalo where I picked up my boyfriend again and went on to Kendari. I hope your head feels better again and your cuts are healed 🙏
