Thanks for the PS3 video. After I saw 360 prices starting to jump two months ago, I started buying PS3 games I don't yet have before the PS3 does a 360. I've picked up nearly 30 PS3 games in the last two months to add to my collection and your video will help me identify a few more PS3 games I should consider before prices rise.

Yeah, it’s really crazy right now right with the prices on some of these old game systems lol for me it honestly feels like yesterday. I was buying these brand new Toys “R” Us.

Funny thing about MindJack is I knew about it thanks to Angry Joe having it on his 'worst of year' list, but the game looked so bonkers that I went and got a copy for the 360. XD

Oh my God, I remember that review long time ago lol but honestly, it’s so crazy. It’s not a bad game. It’s no masterpiece, but it’s not a bad game.

Definitely more PS3, so much attention on 360 currently I swear ps3 prices have gone down some.

You’re going to 100% regret saying that because once 360 is done with the FOMO the PS3 will begin so I thought I was you I would take advantage of that now

I’d say PS3 already had one round of price surges but it actually reversed for whatever reasons. Folklore used to be like $75-90 but it’s nice to see somewhat reasonable again at least currently. But yea I definitely agree PS3 round 2 will come post 360 FOMO and it’ll make last time seem like a picnic.

@@andy_nition the reason the FOMO stopped on the PS3 was because they didn’t shut off the online store and decided to wait a little bit longer but the PS3 is online store is shutting down I think three or four months after 360 shut down.

The news of 360 closing their online service this year definitely is distracting people from investing in the ps3 for the moment, but once service for the ps3 also shuts down it will rise, we already saw this effect back in 2021 when they were going to shut it down than.

Of the consoles you mentioned for possible future game recommendation videos, my vote in order of preference is: 1) PS3 games, 2) original Xbox games, 3) Switch games, 4) 360 games. I only put 360 last as I recently finished collecting for 360 (not a complete collection, just the games I wanted). I love++ o.g. Xbox, though I give a slight edge to PS3 right now as I feel like FOMO could hit PS3 at any time in 2024.

I'm interested in seeing your selection of original Xbox games.

Looking more and more like original Xbox is going to be the pic for next Wednesday. Don’t forget we have a 360 coming up on Sunday.

I collected laserdisc for a while .. I stopped because of disc rot. Also, the quality of the recording varies wildly from movie to movie. I honestly feel like vhs is a more reliable format… probably why laser disc never was a thing, among many other things.

I just love the art on laser disk and for display purposes although I do have a player and I have been watching some

@@resellrobin I'm just amazed how cheap the Xbox is compared to ps2 and gamecube. Some games went up probably due to the 360 fomo, but so many are still cheap.

Why would Sherlock Holmes be expensive? Sherlock Holmes also made for the Xbox 360 and it’s still a $15 game. what is the difference between the PS3 version and the Xbox 360 version?

Actually, I would say both versions. I think are going to go up. It’s just a gut feeling I have. Far as I know there’s no real difference between the two versions. I just think both versions are going to go up in price personally.

You said triple a games arnt the same anymore. Half broken games, or over monetized, and I don't know if your trying to appeal to "muh triple a" audience, but like, yakuza, helldivers, I would argue dragons dogma 2, the latest sonic game, Mario wonder, re4, hell, even ea has been kinda...I wouldn't say making perfect games, but less microtransactions heavy with games like dead space, Jedi survivor or wild hearts have been up to a triple a standerd...idk, I don't going "muh triple a", when it's only 2 or 3 companies that are really tearing down the gaming landscape
