Hi Ryan and Ben. I gate-keep for a long time, been eating this since young traveling all the way from the extreme east. The soup is naturally flavorful by using 将鱼仔，soup and dry version are equally good. I prefer soup because I am not a chili person. This gets sold out before 1.30pm and queue starts 11.30am. The ONLY wanton Mee I will recommend Kim Kee Tanjong Rhu Wanton Mee 4A Jalan Batu (Kallang Area) Don’t try will regret PS: I am not a noodle person but is exception

Try Deng wen ji wanton noodle at east village! Previously called themselves a franchise of Engs Wanton. They’re famous for their wanton noodle, fried wantons and claypot rice!

Hey Ben, I live nearby that Bedok North Street 2 area, less than 10 mins walk from where I live. That 1st recommendation by franster is old traditional nasi lemak. Ah boy nasi lemak at Blk 216 Bedok Central (morning/lunch crowd) is my type, last week ate the curry 🐔 and deep fried boneless🍗. Damn shiok leh..

Please try Hillion Mall kopitiam's old airport road wanton mee! It's nothing like old airport road's wanton mee so please ignore the name, but it's the best I've ever eaten (personal preference).

I like Ariff Nasi Lemak in Serangoon Garden. Nice,!

Dumpling noodle @313 Sembawang drive coffeeshop, do come before 1pm in case they sell out. Might not be open on Mondays or Tuesdays tho

Went to the Dunman wanton mee after this video. It did not look anything shown on video even when ordering the $4.5 plate. Guess the camera really adds 10 pounds and pork lard bits.

Tiong bahru market got one wanton mee stall always long queue. No need put chilli, very nice. I forgot the stall name. Is corner stall.

Tried the Haig Road once and find it just all right only. Personally I prefer the Kolo Mee at Sarawak Delicacy, Bedok North (near interchange).

Wanton mee at Deng wen ji at east village at simpang bedok but the chilli is very spicy so don’t put too much. Generous pork lard, not cardboard char Siew. Give it a try and feature :)

Bedok Food Centre (near the guards camp) has a black sauce wanton mee that is nice without the chilli. Soup also can taste the ikan billis and wanton is nice. Personally I like it with bai jiang and chilli, but most people go for the kl style black sauce.

U can try Muslim delights, nasi lemak at 117 upper Paya Lebar road. They have delicious and big portion of nasi lemak / nasi sambal goreng.

Noodle delight @ blk 262 Serangoon Central Dr. Order w/o chilli as their chilli is too spicy that it numbs the taste buds.

I’ll have to say the Nasi Lemak was constructed like a plate of chai fan with Sambal. Doesn’t look appetising at all, just sad looking. As for the char siew Wanton Noodle, it looks alright minus the lean and pale looking char siew. Kolo Sarawak noodles look the most appetising dish to me in this episode.

Where got people take chilly want to be less spicy one... either you put less or don't put.

Please do not think the Haig road laksa is the real Sarawak laksa taste. I would personally give it a 3/10. Only real sarawakians will know what I mean. Kindly don’t advertise it as the “real Sarawak laksa taste”
