When I look at these photos from Graceland in this video, I can or we can follow Elvis's life from 1957-1977 , and you can see how his creativity grows and in which stages he is in his life. Graceland shows that he was more than a singer and entertainer, he was also a creator of design and a artist so was very acktiv in create trends by his years and life! I love when you do these video's Ashley! I find them so fascinating. Love seeing things put back to the way it was, like the photo and light fixture, etc...The music room sure has a lot of doors, one would never know with all the curtains covering them. So cool to know where they all lead to. The lamp and tables are cool looking and very different, but fit perfectly. Very reminisce of the 70's. I did not see the mirror divider, will have to get my photo's out and look at them again. lol The photo of Elvis and his dad morning Gladys is so heartbreaking. It's fun watching how styles change through the years, especially in Elvis's home. That is so interesting about the kitchen window, no I doubt Elvis got rid of that cracked window, it had connection to his Mama. I do remember being told about the pool room lamp and how Lisa Marie broke it supposedly. I also didn't know there were public bathrooms when I toured Graceland. lol I loved seeing what it would have looked like when Elvis was alive. Very cool video, very cool photo's Ashley! Now I've got to go and look at my photo's of Graceland. lol

I only wished Priscilla would have kept it the way Elvis had it when he was alive. Sad that my ex and I paid to see his house to find out. It’s not the way he left it!! Boo on Priscilla Presley!! 😭😭😭

I hear you.. but Linda changed it to the extreme and many sources say Elvis grew to hate all the red. Priscilla changed it back to the way Gladys originally designed it and the way it sat for 17/20 years Elvis lived there ✌️

Great video! I didn’t know there were public restrooms at GL Mansion grounds; I’ve only been on tour once in 2017 & told no restrooms, go before bus leaves. Maybe they were just not operating at time I was there?

1:50 The table against the wall is most likely a console record player, with the bottom half screened for the speaker(s). It would make sense that the music room would have at least one record player in it.

I saw for sale a large wardrobe type cabinet that used to be in his dressing room and it contained a built in record player. It was for sale a few years back. Apparently there were two of them built.

Hi there Ashley - I so want to come to Nashville but I want to see all like the elvis places (houses) etc that were associated with the great legend - One thing I need some help with where these places are!!

I belonged to that fraternity at Arkansas State University that went to Graceland to present the honorary membership. I ran across that photo in the fraternity wing looking thru some old photos in the early 70's.

I’m not new to the world of Elvis- I’ve been a fanatic since I was 7 years old. I’m 54 now. But every now and then I will run across pics I have never seen before. The 2 still pics in your description are new to me this year (the ID pics). I’m drawn to these pics for some reason. Maybe because they’re “new” to me? I dunno 🤷‍♀️

Loved tour video! Why didn’t you mention the piano changing from white to black? Lol Ashley Which year did the piano get changed ? Also I remember James Burton in saying he arrived at Graceland day before Elvis funeral, there was Caroline kennedy sitting on the front stairs of Graceland crying! I had no idea that she may have even known the Kennedy’s! Must have!

Ashley I also have heard several times that Elvis liked to sit on the floor if there were children at the house. At times he would sit in the floor crossed legs to talk to the kids! That was said by Sheri Lacker in one of the videos she was interviewed.

Hey Ashley, @1:10 the room upstairs at the back of the house that has a half moon shaped widow at the top and two small windows on each side of the room....what is that room? 🤔 I never can figure that out. I love your video's!! ❤️ I watch them over and over.

Interesting question! Personally I'd rather see Graceland as Elvis last saw it but I understand why they made the changes. 50/50, they used a lot of stuff in storage but some things are totally new like the carpet and some furniture 🕵🏻‍♀️⚡️

Are the lions gone? I can’t imagine them taking away the lions at the front! Elvis loved them!

Yea the upstairs toilet in Elvis bathroom was a black one at the time of his death something was stopping the other 1 up and he replaced it with a black 1

I have four versions of the bamboo and cherry blossoms sitting against a wall in my kitchen, except mine have some kind of Asian (Japanese, I think) writing on them. Need to hang them yet. They’re quite nice.

Every time I hear of someone getting access into Graceland making out they're mourning or giving condolence but are actually reporting for press or magazines it makes me mad .. people wanting from him even in death

I heard that the kitchen's broken window came about because Gladys threw a coffee pot through it.

One of his California homes had a cedar closet.
