Snakes aren’t the only animals that you may encounter in abandoned mines. Other animals may live there as well. Some other animals that live in abandoned mines include bats, raccoons, and bears among many other animals. Some bears may even live in abandoned mines with their cubs as there was another abandoned mine safety video that had a picture and in that picture a female black bear was living in a abandoned mine with her cubs. You don’t want to mess with any bears such as by getting too close to them or trapping them with no escape but especially mother bears with cubs and you don’t want to mess with them anywhere including in abandoned mines. If you corner a bear with no escape or get to close to them they may see you as a threat and they may then attack you in a attempt to defend themselves and by entering a abandoned mine you may be getting too close to a bear or May corner them with no escape. In addition Mother bears are famously very protective of their cubs and will do anything to protect their young including attacking those who are seen as a threat to their cubs wether it is a person or another animal so if you were to get too close to a mother bear then she may see you as a threat to her young and then may attack you in a attempt to protect her cubs and by going into abandoned mines you could be getting too close to a mother bear. As usual in all cases the first bear safety tip is to stay away from any bear especially a bear with cubs and if you do see a bear leave it alone and give it enough space and make sure that the bear has a easily accessible escape route and don’t block the bears escape route. This relates to abandoned mines because if a bear lives in a abandoned mine staying away from the bear and leaving them alone means to stay out and away from abandoned mines and never enter them. In addition bats and raccoons are also dangerous because they can bite you and they are among the many animals along with dogs that may have rabies and therefore if they bite you then you will get rabies and if you don’t get immediate medical treatment by immediately going to the hospital you will die. Therefore you should stay out and away from all abandoned mines and never enter any of them and you should especially never enter abandoned mines that you suspect wild animals such as bats, raccoons, and bears may live in or are living in or that are known to have bats, raccoons, or bears living in them. Remember stay out and stay alive. Never enter abandoned mines.
