Because black people are such a powerful nation , so powerful that the White man feels threatened by us and wants us to be put down, because he believes that hes better than all of us, but in reality we are all equal , but the white man doesn't want our history to be told because he knows if it is, hes going to lose this battle between Blacks and whites, Which is why it is our job as black people, to fights and protect our history as the ancestors intended

Have you ever heard of the Barbary Bay Slave Trade?? They never spoke a word about it in school either, but 1.25mil europeans were enslaved by the barbary bay pirates. Reports of Barbary raids and kidnappings of those in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, England, Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and as far north as Iceland exist from between the 16th to the 19th centuries, interesting.

@@plungher Back, then slavery was a business and black people was the best quality , because we were strong, faster and more resilient than any other culture. Africa was selling their own people. If you look at the beach side in Ghana . You will see they built holding cells to keep their own people for the ships to take them to America and the rest of the world. The only difference is in today’s society we get paid, but always kept at a level beneath our white counterparts no matter how rich some of us claim to be. What you think about this opinion?

Well, most Jewish people know that the Sephardim of Spain converted just so that they could come to the New World. But once we got here, we went back to our Judaism like they said, Catholic by day, Jews, by night, I would not be surprised if the Arabic speaking man from morocco, did not do the same thing, because everyone who was not a Catholic was told to leave Spain. And they used to say that baptismal water was wasted.

Were they freeing indigenous enslaved women or were they kidnapping and raping indigenous women? If the later maybe this is why they do not teach about it because that is horrific. However, if they were freeing indigenous enslaved women and the history books wanted to make them look bad and say they kidnapped them, then that is different, they would be heroes, as indigenous peoples were being captured and enslaved as well, depending on their skin tone and curliness of hair. In the book written by Tatiana Sejas Asian Slaves in Colonial Mexico; from Chinos to Indians it shows how the Trans Pacific Slave trade brought over tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Asians, from the Middle East, India to the Far East of China to the Americas as slaves of the Spaniards. The Indigenous peoples in the Americas were Black and they helped some of the Asian slaves escape to freedom and allowed them in their tribes. When the Kings of Africa made a deal with the Pope for African slaves who were stronger and could handle the heat and humidity of the weather in the Americas, the Pope granted freedom to the remaining Asian Slave and dubbed them the new Native Americans. However, the majority of them that had escaped has already mixed with the existing Black indigenous peoples and much of their offspring looked more African with curly to kinky hair. They then had a sort of caste system of those Asian and Black offsprings. For those that could not be distinguished between the African Slaves in the eyes of the European they brought many of them into slavery once again under the Trans Atlantic Slave trade.

Why is it that every time the narrator inform us about the history concerning black people, it's always about dealing with the Atlantic slave? There were events that went on before the Atlantic slave trade and the sub Saharan slave trade. For example,"The next richest man in the world Mansa Musa, The war that happened in Sudan with the Roman empire which the queen pu the stone head of Augustus Caesar under her throne and a lot lots more. Talk about how the African people came to this continent many thousands of years before the Europeans ever even known about this land. And the only reason why they got here was because Christopher Columbus got lost and was thrown off course which he was searching for india.

Agreed, history prior to the Transatlantic Slave Trade needs to be focused on as well. Another period of time that gets glossed over is Reconstruction. School tends to jump from the Cival War to WWI, WWII and the Civil Rights movement. Freed enslaved people's success in building their own communities, politics, etc is what led to Jim Crow laws, the KKK , police and state governments terrorizing Black communities (for example Black Wall Street in Tulsa... that wasn't an isolated incident, those situations were going on all over the country).

What if we didn't have to wonder how much of our money was wasted trying to destroy each generation as they have come along over the last 50 years.
