Hickory Dickory Dock by Agatha Christie | Audiobook | Rewrite Book in Simple for Learning English
Different things disappear in an ordinary hostel for students. The residents at Hickory Road do not panic considering it nonsense. A book, a bag or a lamp are not very valuable. You can easily forget about them. But the famous detective Hercule Poirot believes that the events are more serious than they seem at first glance. After all, the list of stolen things looks rather unusual. After a while they find the corpse of one of the inhabitants. It was a murder staged to look like a usual suicide. The case which seemed innocuous, takes a very serious turn. Will the detective be able to save the situation? Will he show his genius once again? The children's verselet, that became the title of the novel, sounds really ominously. The novel's atmosphere perfectly emphasizes this.

Thanks so very much for sharing this great book. Although the narration is actually quite good, I find that I can’t really get into the story. I have been terribly spoiled with hearing Hugh Fraser do the voice acting and he is absolute perfection, so I just can’t accept substitutes.

Yes he is a very good reader and he has different voices. I I'm perfectly enjoying and falling asleep to his voice but when it comes to voices sir you Frazer. Is that the top of the list fat this guy or girl? I'm not sure who it is on is very good and not like some of them. Who? Can't read mispronounced everything? Why do they do that? Why are they on there? It's so terrible you can't listen to them. Also when you're narrating an english Patricia Wentworth any British book you have to have someone with a British accent it follows so flat. When you they just read along in English the? Ah other English not the queen's English are the kings English now? I suppose I don't know but they always said queen's English. It makes a huge difference.

@Cathy Rowe Just get adblocker! I've been listening to this and haven't encountered a single ad. It's a very easy problem to remedy; certainly much easier than browbeating the poster of every video you encounter that contains ads. And why would you block his channel? Has he sought you out, and demanded you watch his videos? There's no point in getting angry at the uploader because you're unwilling to either buy these audio books or get adblocker. Your misplaced righteous indignation just demeans you. You could just go to Audible and buy these books narrated by Hugh Fraser. Then they will be guaranteed ad free, narrated by a movie star, and you'll have no complaints. When someone is offering a service for free, you must take what you can get.
