I've literally just learned ab out Maqam and what it means. Hijaz is so cool, but I've barely scratched the surface.

This is beautiful. I see that you are using B F# B E A D tuning. Can this tuning be done in Arabic tuning strings? Or do I need Turkish tuning? My tuner app is showing that this is Turkish tuning.

hey roli😊 thank you very much dont tune your ud for turkish tuning with arabic strings this can be dangerous for your ud. you need to replace for strings that are made for turkish tuning and than you will get the proper tension.
