This is so ridiculous. The most common part failing on these scooters. They make YOU pay for it and then when you get it, there's no instructions. You find yourself watching this and the guy moves fast so really this is an intricate hour long project for something they could've made so much simpler. Never buying their products again. If it's going to be like this, just send everyone a new handlebar. And the company eat the cost of that because they designed a faulty throttle for it. I'll definitely be updating my stellar 5 star review.

This was a pretty intense replacement process. I got it done in about an hour thanks to this video but agree with others. Needs to be a more detailed video from the company considering this part seems to be a frequent failure point.

For the people that are unable to find a new throttle, you can disconnect the break and connect it into the throttle connection, I did it and works. You still have the manual break

i big brained mines I bought the wrong one the one for Xiaomi for 7 dollars and then I cut original one and put the end piece one the Xiaomi throttle and taped each individual wire (which totals 3) then taped up everything else and plugged it in and it works the one hiboy wants u to buy is 20 dollars so it's a huge discount and best of all the throttle comes with 1 day shipping p. s not a bot for hiboy

I'd rather just buy a whole ew handle bar this is too much extreme I'd just disconnect the old handle bar and re attach the new one to the connector

OMG he is so rough with electronics.....looks like he will brake more than he fixes

My scooter has survived falling 2 times at max speed and crashing into a car. But one really cold day I couldn't feel my fingers when riding so I pressed the throttle harder than usual and it snapped past its usual position. It couldn't go max speed and could barely make it over hills as the scooter was starting to not recognize any throttle input, but luckily I made it home.

What a terrible how to video. He flys through yanking out wires and stripping tape without ever making it clear what he is doing. You have to already know how to do this to follow.
