"Hi, I'm new!" Captain Marvel's Brie Larson on joining The Avengers WhatsApp group (or not).
Watching Becoming... Captain Marvel in full on BBC iPlayer in the UK: bbc.in/2HfergZ
Brie Larson talks to BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb about how she landed the role of Captain Marvel in the latest movie in the epic Marvel Cinematic Universe. She reveals why her superhero suits smell so bad, what her favourite 90s moment from the movie is, and how no-one ever recognises her (We think that might change...!)

Watch the rest of the Captain Marvel cast talk about the art of keeping the secrets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe here:
It’s okay Brie, Tom Holland isn’t in the WhatsApp group either
He is, by far, one of the best interviewers in the field. You can tell every celeb that gets to sit with him just immediately relaxes and is way more chill once they learn about the humor and questions he provides.
I don't get why she gets so much hate. She's lovely!!
She seems like a very charming, humble and relatable human being. And it is great she is making her voice heard. What social media is making of her is inexcusable.
i'm not sure i get the whole "brie larson is unlikable" thing
she seems much cooler in this interview than most
I don’t understand why people dislike her... she seems really nice
Also, Ali’s interviews are my absolute favorite part of the marvel press tours. His interactions with the actors are always so genuine and well researched!
This dude's chemistry with Brie Larson is everything. I need more interviews of them when Endgame comes out. Also, is there really an Avengers WhatsApp group?
This interviewer is always so incredible he so bubbly and friendly
Her screaming at the Skrull was my favourite part of the entire movie, XD. (apart from the post credit scene)
The thing is brie Larson maybe a strong and smart woman but she's also an introvert and it's interviewers like Ali Plumb that make her comfortable and you all shamelessly attacking her and trolling her
first Brie video without many hate comments, finally
Ali Plumb, I gotta say man and I hope you do read the comments but you’re literally one of the best interviewers out there who mix the perfect amount of enthusiasm, curiosity and warmth. I watch all your interviews and the attitude you exude is so infectious. Especially the “Movies that made me” videos, those are the best. You really love movies and the people who made them and it SHOWS it really SHOWS. Keep up the good work sir!
How anyone dislikes this woman is beyond me.
Wait? Hold on. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World?! Is that Chris Evans' (Captain America) movie? Both Captains are both stars in Scott Pilgrim film franchise.
Everyone has been denying the Avengers whatsapp group so intesely for so long that I'm now utterly convinced it exists.
Her face when he’ll asked her about what app Group 😂😂
