The build was a slow accumulation of parts starting with the Hi-Capa in 2019. I purchased from numerous sources in various currencies and at different times so price fluctuations will probably vary. For information on the build, I have noted the unit price in the currency paid (usually CAD, or as noted in brackets - either USD or HKD sometimes). If you are going to do anything ‘right away’ I would at minimum do the parts as noted with “*” which will give the best bang for the buck for easy performance improvements (range and accuracy). I picked up both 120% and 140%. The 140% seems to cycle the nozzle with everything fine so far for this setup! I didn't even bother trying the 120%.

120 for plastic slides and 140 for aluminium. Personally I use the 140% aip nozzles springs as I destroyed 3 of the Waldo Customs springs in 3 game days. I've run this same aip spring for a couple dozen game days and it's still going strong

Hey I’m 63 and just getting into the hobby with my son,so I have a stupid question? I met a gentleman that strictly run a Tokyo Marui that has same (telling by eye since he showed me internals) parts but his is and HPA with hose and super cool high cap tank and that thing is a rocket and he tears up guys bits on the field and it’s a lighter setup then the CZ EVO my sun runs although his is a $780 AEG and it’s amazing but I’d like to go with this setup. So question is,is this an HPA air run on green gas? And what’s a GBBR? Sorry for the rambling but I’m trying to get educated and I’m a new subscriber to your channel. Hey, if I understand it correctly you want to know about HPA vs other gas options for a hicapa build? I'm not too familiar with HPA setups for pistols but basically you just have to modify the magazines to receive the HPA line. HPA is just a high pressure air powering as the "gas". Typically the term GBBR or gas blow back rifle is meant for propane/green gas/co2 powered guns and HPA is essential the same principle except its compressed air. With HPA you need a tank, regulator, line/hose and the mag adaptor (hicapa to m4 usually) then you will run m4 style mags instead of high cap mags. Google search for "primary airsoft HPA mag adaptor" and "how to HPA a high capa" and you will find some good info. Personally I wouldn't HPA my pistol unless it's my primary weapon. It might make more sense for short games (skrim style), or indoor airsoft (all CQB). If your playing milsim it's not really a good idea and may not even be allowed by the rules (pistols don't use M4 mags in milsim!!). With thst being said you can judge your goals for the pistol and plan for it!

He was picking us off at long distance and I just loved his setup. Thanks my friend again appreciate you

@@scotmetcalf2745 not sure if youre still looking into it or managed to figure it out but i run a HPA setup, basically HPA is just high pressure air that is held in a tank on your back, you have a tank, regulator on your tank to convert it from high pressure to low pressure, then a hose running to your gun, with my capa i use an M4 HPA mag adaptor, disassemble your stock mag, put it on the adaptor and you can run an M4 mag with your pistol whilst running it on air instead of green gas. no longer need to fill it with green gas as it will use the air from the tank, then to adjust how powerful it fires, you adjust the pressure on the regulator, id recommend no more than 100psi, i presonally run 80PSI on 0.2 bbs and i usually get around 300fps. any other questions feel free to message me :)

The small screw driver set is really the only thing specific or special. You could pick up any set that's suitable for electronics or phone repair usually. Make sure it has a wide variety and size of bits including Allen key sizes. It should have a base that spins freely relative to the screw driver shaft. Other then that I have a mini plier set and a typical screw driver set.

Does the Airsoft Masterpiece threaded barrel fit the stock TM hi capa slide? It looks like that was what you originally had on the pistol however when I went to order one I was told it wouldnt fit

Yes I did originally have the stock TM slide on for a while till I got the upgraded airsoft masterpiece slide. The particular outter barrel model that I used did fit the stock slide just fine. It was the airsoft masterpiece edge threaded outter barrel on a stock TM hi capa 5.1. Perhaps the warning you got indicates it is not a gaurenteed fit though.

@@DucknDiveAirsoft Maybe its the barrel I was looking at or something or maybe theres some TM hi capas it wont fit. I have the gold match so im hoping I can find one that will fit as I want to run a tracer unit on my sidearm

I don't know 100 % if the gold match has the same slide geometry although it does have unique cutouts. The gold match definitely has some premium or different components. The inner barrel and seating system within the outer barrel is definitely different for the gold match (chekc knuckles video kzread.info/dash/bejne/oGx3mM-JmK3gmpc.html). I am not sure if this feature is why they say it may not fit.

Unfortunately I do not have fit information regarding 1911 to hicapa slides. I do know that although the hicapa is built similarly to the 1911 that they both have some unique parts from one another. The only thing I tried, unsuccessfully, was to replace my 1911 outter barrel, inner barrel and hop unit with a hi capa variant (actually the stock one I took out of this TM Hicapa build) and I can confirm the outter barrel and inner barrel seating mechanism including the guide are different and therefor it does not work. For reference I have an EF1911Tac.

Hey I got parts from a variety of sources for this build. Here are places: Low impact kinetics (Canada) Rainbow 8 (Hong Kong) Evike (USA) Airsoft parts canada (Canada) Alpha airsoft (Hong Kong) Amped airsoft (USA) AIP airsoft (Hong Kong) With the covid outbreak in China not to long ago it was difficult to get shipping international from Hong Kong but I do believe their situation was improving and it might be better for shipping options now (airmail was closed, and only expensive courreir or ground/boat snail mail was open for international shipping for a while). I just got an order from AIP that I placed In April! Just be sure to check the options for shipping and ask questions about it if you are unsure.
