Very interesting video, this chassis has potential to be a great running RC. Just need to be patient and plan ahead before taking parts apart. I have a one of these. I'm currently giving the body a new scale look interior and balsa wood / rods bed floor. Chassis has Ampro parts for front servo mount giving chassis better steer, has one piece aluminum rims with Austar soft truck tires.

Hi Den I had another idea about them ARB axles rather than filling a small flat on the axle shaft could you not make a small plate from alloy like a lowering block with a crescent shape for the axle to sit in and small indent to sit on leaf spring as a locating hole what you think.

This may be a dumb question, but to run the RC4WD wheels or real Bruiser aluminum wheels on the HG-P407 you need the big bruiser bearings in the wheel then you omit the hubs and run directly on the axles and tighten with the 3mm nut correct? Any idea where to source the big bearings? Thanks 👍

hi, No problem Yep you can just remove the hub bearing and spacer from the hgp407 hub and transfer them to the true scale rc4wd wheels then omit the hubs and bolt the wheel on the axle with the 3mm nut , you don't need the bigger bearing but if you want them the number of the bearing is ABEC-3 608ZZ They sell them online just search the number and amazon has them ,

I would switch it to any gear and it would go past where it should have and I could hear the servo still trying to do something like I was flipping the switch. What radio do you recommend for it?
