I am going to make sure you don't have a stupid AI that cannot spell and mispronounces words all the time before I subscribe. I did like this story though and will continue to listen for more.

Knowing humans like we do I could certainly see us as a species refusing to abandon FTL research as well as looking for shortcuts.

Not really, if it was America on a galactic scale it would just be going round hiring the rest of the galaxy`s best engineers and scientists and buying all the technology they couldn`t hope to develop on their own.

Because authors are 'murikans. Same with isekai light novels always containing a small island to the east that have kimonos, rice and katanas, because japonees wrote them. Or korean manhwas always roll down to hunters conquering towers.

some one got a bunch of grunts together and told them they could go home after they got FTL working. only took till lunch cause one of them needed to make a beer run.

This seems to have borrowed a lot from the Roman Empire. Socii keep their own laws and customs, subject to Terran control of foreign and military policy, eventually leading to full 'Roman' status. Even under great duress, most socii will remain loyal to the functioning 'Roman' society.

They say that there must have been a 5th giant planet before the late heavy bombardment. It got throw out of the system. Apparently models seem to need this missing planet to recreate out current status.

Enjoyed that.

Oh we started making up ways of pulling that off, Star Trek 3 is a good example of the slingshot maneuver and was even shown in an episode from the 1960's around the time the US landed on the moon in 1969. Have you heard about the blue police telephone box? Why are you checking the spare room, no we don't have one up here they're normally found on the planet below only hard core fans try to bring one with them. Yes we know they scare you, Chibdall really messed things up.

That was cool. I can not wait till more of us realize that we can this here, today, and our future would be a thing of fantasy for all mankind.

I mean it is. Anything that can hold its hydrogen has to be considered a giant. Also it's the same size as Neptune, so either both are giants or neither are.

You forgot to mention "Rap and R and B as a part of the death world discription.

I'm sorry, I tried to follow this one... But I'm wondering who is saying what in this story. At first it seemed to be from the perspective of the human... Then it seemed to be about some creature other than a human... The way the sentences are arranged in this story kind of feels like it was made without punctuation. It's a good premise, but I got lost very quickly.
