I agree. I would appreciate his game if he didn't depend on pushing off every time he tries to do a crossover. When he was getting locked up by Fomb and Skoob, he wants to resort to full-on grabbing or hooking them all the way to the basket for an easy layup. Either Skoob or Fomb should have won. Anyone can score an easy basket by hooking their defender on their weak side. Fomb is nice because he doesn't play dirty like that. I know hooking your defender isn't illegal but Hezi can't act like he is nice when he carries, pushes off, and holds.

i think hezi asking for fouls constantly is a psychological tactic that keeps defenders from being too physical cause they worried about him complaining about a foul lol. you start being aware of your hands and body placement in order not to foul, gives the offensive player a slight second more of time to get off moves while you hesitate about your level of physicality. i've played against ppl like that, my older brother was a master at that. by the end of a game, you practically have your hands down at your side while he's tryna drive to the hoop so he don't complain about you reaching. then you backing away when he drops his shoulder into your chest just before his gather step so you avoid contact. its why fomby let him get that fadeaway without fully contesting on the second to last shot.
