Heybike recently launched the Mars 2.0, showcasing a substantial improvement over its predecessor. The 2.0 has transitioned into a class 3 e-bike from its former class 2 designation and is now equipped with a smart app that can track rides, monitor calories burned, and enable a secure locking feature.
While the Mars 2.0 undoubtedly outshines its forerunner, it's essential to note that there are still certain drawbacks associated with this upgraded model.
In this video, we unbox, set up, walkthrough, go for a ride, and tell you what we love and hate about the Heybike Mars 2.0.

Saw the thumbnail, came to check out the helmet. Thanks for linking in description. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Happy Thanksgiving guys! I enjoyed this review. I am looking for information on a new bike the Eahora Cupid. If you guys could do a review of it that would be great!
Excellent presentation. Liked, subscribed, and rang that bell. P.S. Appreciated your showing the box. Now I have an idea of what I will be contending with when the bike arrives. (My Rad Rover boxes were way larger than the Heybike's container).

@@freshlycharged can the seats be changed without essues? I see the seat has to be moved forward to remove the battery..
A battery alone is $500. Tires are $60-70. Seat is $40. Controller, display $150ish. Frame $100ish. Time, labor, shipping. It all adds up.

That’s expensive for a battery, or are they normally that price?

Great review!! I was looking at the Lectric 3.0 and came across this bike. can the tires be swapped out to use 3" tires instead? We don't go off road as much and thought that 3" tires is a sweet spot.
Great job as always guys, have a great Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
You guys already got snow? You're lucky.

Hey, Are the mechanical brakes connected to the electrical system in any way? I know some hydraulic brakes cut off power when you engage them. Do you know if these mechanical brakes do the same?
Torque or cadence sensors? Looks nice to me

Damn. I just got the Lectric XP 3.0 for roughly the same price and it tops out at 18 mph full throttle

Y'all listed the range as somewhere around 30 miles, I assume thats using straight up throttle. Any idea the range possible with the lowest pedal assist mode?

Looks like you were running way high tire pressures for such big fat tires. They're supposed to visibly deform to make good contact with the terrain.

I see you guys are having fun riding your e-bikes in all that global warming already. 😂
Customer service sucks and they won't honor their warranty plus they won't pay for return shipping on the crap battery
what is the coldest outdoor temperature that ebikes can be used? At what point does the battery risk getting damaged from cold-temp riding? Thanks! ✌🛴🌍
@Andrew-vt4jt

I've never had issues riding in cold but it does reduce range and top speed dramatically when it is below freezing. I like to keep my batteries at 50-60% when storing them in cold months.
