Well, looking back at the whole Bulbmin situation, they could parasitize a life form on another planet and essentially become leaders of the smaller ones. So now Samus needs to either exterminate or quarantine them. Finally a Metroid game AFTER Metroid Fusion in the canon (Fusion Suit Armor).

I’m sure it’s in development on Switch. It’s been confirmed that it’s in the making. The 3DS will have this title, while the Switch will have the next core release. Probably sometime next year

To be honest, I'm actually liking the direction this game went with. The Pikmin games (aside from 2) were always pretty stressful giving you a limit of time to complete the game. Hey! Pikmin! seems to be a calm and mellow version of the main series, which I can get behind and support. One more thing I do like is how expressive the Pikmin seem to be, which I just adore. Definitely can't wait for this to launch

Like everyone else I was skeptical at first, but this looks like a fun spin-off that retains much of the Pikmin atmosphere for and charm.

I like the change, the original's 30 day time crunch was a lil stressful, while not as bad as majora's but it still put a lot of pressure on finding one ship part a day, it's be a safety cushion to find 2 in one day sure, but it was still quite a crunch

I love Pikmin, and that's why I try my best to defend it when people tell me that it's trash, garbage, or any other foul analogy. Insults do not equal arguments, and because of that I don't take insults to heart. That being said, there's nothing I hate more than fence sitters. Form your own opinion, don't try to defend people who are too lazy to defend their beliefs.

played the demo and was pleasantly surprised. it definitely is different but somehow manages to still feel like pikmin, i think it's a great take on a portable version of the game :')

I played the demo and this game is pretty fun. Really the perfect way to make Pikmin work as a 2D game.

Adam Angeles I recommend you play the original games. They're very good, and the daily logs every night tell a lot about Olimars life on Hocotate, as well as his observations on the Pikmin.

I think this looks great. I love the charm of Pikmin, but could never personally get into the gameplay of the core series. I like being able to get a chance to play in a style I'm more used to, and experience the charm of Pikmin.

See this is the difference between Metroid Prime Federation Force and Hey! Pikmin. Hey! Pikmin kept the series's original art style, kept the original protagonist, and tried something new with the gameplay since it's a spinoff. It took the classic gameplay of having an army of Pikmin, and changing the puzzles to be 2D instead of 3D. Metroid Prime Federation Force had an ugly artstyle, and the co-op combat did not fit Metroid. Metroid has always been about the exploration and isolation, with a creepy factor. Throw in four space marines and no Samus and make everyone chibis and it takes all that creepiness and loneliness away.

The Useless Fortune Teller >Better gameplay Yeah an arena team based combat game when Prime was always about finding your abilities and exploring the levels. This keeps the regular gameplay of Pikmin and tries something new with it in a 2D setting

The demo was pretty fun! The game looks very accessible for those who haven't played any of the series before! Heck, my wife Jess played through the whole demo and had a blast while at the Nintendo Summer of Play tour! Also, Hocotate pronounced as "Ho-ko-tah-tay" Interesting!

The demo of this game was ok, but you should play the demo of pikmin 3 deluxe, now THAT is a fun time

This looks pretty fun now that I watched this!

I'm a Pikmin fan and this doesn't even upset me at all. In fact this looks pretty interesting, and I love how they brought the Piklopedia back from Pikmin 2.
