Love your video, as always :) But i wish you tried that handbrake on a proper rally sim like DIRT RALLY.

I bought their handbrake the other day. Out of the box the mounting plate had a crossed thread on one of the holes. I immediately dropped Heusekveld an email and explained the problem, and within an hour the reaplacment parts were sent for dispatch. Any manufacturer can have an odd problem, but it's how it's resolved that counts. HE could not have been better.

Our sim racing dad is back at it.

Very nice build quality again from Heusinkveld. This handbrake will last a lifetime, the only 3 parts that wear, are easy to service.

Just wandering through and thought I'd mention: the burnt smell from the plywood is because it's been cut on a laser-cutting machine. It uses a high-powered CO2 laser to etch/engrave/cut materials like acrylic (the housing for the electronics) and plywood (the handle layers). They're very common in "maker" circles because they can cut very precise shapes without much manual processing needed.

I have one of these and it is fantastic! Great for rally cars in sims.

HelE handbrake only costed me $12 extra compared to aiologs. I have aiologs shifter tho and like it.

I would imagine almost any sim racing game with configurable button layouts would work just fine. When choosing the input for “brake” just pull the handbrake and you should be good to go!

On a PC yes you can (easy to map in). On a console maybe not.

Lime it has been cancelled if anyone reading this in 2021 lol Sim Racing Garage Do you have any info on it. Neils uses one on his rig and im always asking when it is coming. I dont get why it was cancelled as there is no H pattern shifter made all metal and at a reasonable price which is why everyone was looking forward to it. If anyone could make a H Pattern shifter with positive shifts and all metal for under £400 they would sell out so fast

There is a car called Ford Festiva but this wasnt one it was a fiesta. But you could say it less like a child taking the piss.

HI BARRY! do u know about this new company "FEEL VR"? They are making some custom direct drive wheel and pedals and they currently reached their backer goal on kickstarter(i'm a backer myself) it would be so great if u could take a look at it and maybe review it.

I was contacted by them to test their wheel. Seeing how other Sim Racing KZread channels had already done the, "in the hotel room thing", I didn't see any reason for me to do it. Just the same re-hashed information. So I passed. Just have to wait until the retail units start shipping. Then I can give their products a proper SRG review.

Great review. You didn't talk about the way to setup the maximum range. Am i forced to pull 200 kgs to be on full scale? Certainly on windows properties.

I calibrated in widows and then use the game settings to adjust for length of pull. Just like you would for your foot brake pedal.

Yes, an analog electrical signal is produced from the load cell.

Your sequential is really clacky😂

Only bad part is the clear plastic housing and arduino board. Got mine and got everything setup and went to plug the usb end in and heard a crunch noise and went to use and and had no connection at all. Pure bullshit on a $272 handbrake that didn't even get used.
