Most people don't know that walker held the world record in the 60 yard sprint for about 15 minutes, until carl lewis broke it in another heat at the same meet.

Love the music, the commentary, and the highlights. Great video. I was 10 years old when Herschel was a freshman and remember watching and listening to Larry Munson on the radio that magical season Herschel took us all the way. 13 years later I graduated from UGA. So many good memories.

A great player,a great man of God, and someone you could be happy that you’re children looked up to as a role model. He was never under investigation for anything illegal or wrong because he was what Heroes are supposed to be like. God bless Herschel Walker the Greatest College Football Player ever.

Fun Fact: Hershel Walker was diagnosed with Dissociate Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder) sometime after he retired from football. It turned out he was originally obese and shy when he was young, and was bullied to terrible degrees as a result. The trauma of dealing with the relentless bullying led to him creating a “better him” that was an absolute beast at sports, and this eventually led to his dominance on the field. Some of his fellow teammates would remark that he acted like a completely different person on the field - a mad and completely focused being of pure athleticism and rage - yet was calm and happy when off of it. The only reason he was wasn’t diagnosed early on was because he had football to channel his anger and aggression from his other “personality,” and once he retired he lost that outlet; it led to problems with simple communication with other people, and that eventually led to his official diagnosis. From them on, he learned to cope with DID since it could come out at very inopportune times, and even wrote a book about it if I remember correctly.

+Brad Beasley He actually wasn't a natural athlete. He was an obese kid who had bad knees and his nose used to bleed when he would run. He didn't really have friends back when he was in like 6th and 7th grade, so what he did was he watched TV, and would do push ups and sit ups during all the commercials, and then he'd run sprints back and forth across his yard.

Brett Hulett he was in the usfl for a while where he dominated, then was very good in the NFL as not only a rb, but a fb and wr. That's why he only had 2 1000 yard seasons, but 11th in all purpose yards. He was great in pro football, borderline HOF and I bet if he hadn't been in the USFL, he'd be in.
