Really love this card! No only is it beautiful but it’s a declutter card as well. I often keep these trips of paper and never know when I would need them. Now I know. Thank you for sharing! Your brilliant!
I think this technique will be perfect for using Christmas paper that your not keen on, because it's the colours that count not the actual picture. Thank you for all your inspiration.
Love it Sam. Great way to use scraps. Thanks a million. I've a shed load that I never know how to reduce greatly in one fell swoop and now I have the answer. You're a wee gem. Thanks again.

Thank you so much Reva, It makes me very happy knowing that my tutorials are so well received and others are enjoying them. As for my accent, I wasn't really aware I had one, I have a mix of English accents after growing up in different places. :)

So pretty ... looks like a quilt. TFS! :)
Great cards, I will be making some of these
Another great tutorial and card Sam, thank you. I have made this type of card before and sometimes I leave a small gap between the strips and then rub over the gaps with gold or silver flakes, it's very effective.

Love that idea Denise, will be trying that next time I make them :)
Just found this video and I love it! I don't usually save the really small scraps, but I will from now on. I just made one from scraps from a recent project and it is so fun. I ran an embossing folder over the finished piece before adding it to the card base, and it is gorgeous! Thanks for a great tutorial!
This was my very first style of what I called scrapbooking card, lovely to see it again and know it has a proper name lol, love it Thank you Sam for bringing back my memories, gorgeous, no stunning card and to use double sided sheets rather than my old style of skinny double sided tape👍xx😀💚

Lovely!!! I have a bucket in my craftroom where i keep all my long cuts for this kind of thing. When it gets full, i make a bunch of backgrounds. Great ideas, Sam!! I'm glad to know you!

Unfortunately it would take me too long to work out the metric and imperial measurements but if you just type the imperial measurements into google it will quickly give you the metric measurements needed 😀
Beautiful cards 😍 great technik ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity xx
