Thank you for these videos. I love how you did this all in one pass. I am 83 years old and have been beading since I was in high school. When videos first came out I watched them every day......always looking for new ones. After several years of watching I found that the thing that stayed with me and made my beading easier was the little comments made in the "chit-chat" that never made it into a tutorial. Things like saying aloud what you are doing so they get into a rhythm. Also things like the comments about avoiding the thread showing. So please keep jibber jabbering along. The nuggets are there for the beaders to hold on to. I have never seen this technique done before. 5 Stars for a great tutorial.

Oh my gosh Doris thank you for your wonderful comment. I appreciate it so much because some times I think I should do a polished video that is scripted but I just can't do it. I'm a retired nurse and I miss talking to people all the time. This really fills that void. I'll be 59 this May and my wife will be 66 in April. Before Covid I did bead parties in people's homes. So I only started doing KZread when the pandemic hit. I love beading. My favourite thing to do is take an old design and put my own twist on it. Where are you? We are in Nova Scotia. I worked in North Carolina when I graduated. Big hugs 🤗

I'm 69. Been beading since 2002-2003. Stopped any kind of beadwork during the pandemic. Could not participate in fairs and festivals which I like. But anyway I'm ready to get back into it. I have unsold inventory and need to familiarize myself with online sites so I can sell my stuff and continue making more.

@DorisM. I totally agree! I have been doing beading since the mid 1960s and find it soothing. Queen Emma's videos are definitely informative and enjoyable but her 'jibber-jabber' is actually my favorite part of her videos. She is so kind, encouraging and a bit zany. The zany bits are my favorite! As per Dr Google zany = comical in an endearing way, imaginatiatively funny or comical, especially in behavior'. Yes mam! That's Queen Emma!!!!!

i appreciate Queen Emma's jibber-jabber more than she realizes. In spite of numerous medical appointments and surgeries somehow Queen Emma made the time to create wonderful videos that were informative and entertaining. A great deal of this was during the Pandemic. For many of us she was a lifeline to someone that shared a common interest. For those of us with no family she felt like a beloved family member. A lot has changed since then but Emma remains very significant in the heart of many of her fans. I am an only child. Emma could be my much younger sister - possibly my daughter. Either would be fine with me. BRING ON THE JIBBER JABBER!!!!-

Beautiful bracelet! The bead count I worked out is to add two rows of herringbone after I added the superduos/center beads. I use the turnaround which doesn’t show on the outside. I didn’t reinforce the beads. The result is a smooth and flexible bracelet. I used Toho seed beads, superduos and 3mm melon beads. If Myyuki beads are used the herringbone rows may increase to three. Hope this is helpful. Claire

Hi, Emma. The one with the crystals is stunning. I am a bling girl, so of course I love this one! I like your jobber jabber. That’s half the fun. I had a few ideas for future videos. Have you ever done a video with pondo stitch, hubble stitch, and/or PRAW? Also, I’d love to make an amulet bag wide enough to hold an iPhone. Thank you also for the tip on changing speed. I never thought to do that! As always, thank you for sharing your amazing talent.

Great minds think alike. I appreciate your suggestions. Can you give me more description of the amulet bag for iPhone. Would it be beaded or leather or deer skin? I just bought some beautiful white deer skin. You could send me example photos at emmadevost@gmail.com 🤓
