he also seems to have some sort of damage or weakness in his spine.. his back legs very obviously are not working right... his legs keep splaying out to the sides and he keeps stepping down on his rear paws and they're not facing the ground... hope he fully recovers and that is not permanent..

Be fair. The teen broke in and the dog attacked him, the teen was defending himself. Obviously he shouldn’t need to be defending himself because he shouldn’t be there. Also deterrents DONT make people think of the consequences, if they did people wouldn’t have committed crimes for ages. Also people have studied this, it’s true.

This is all circumstantial. This report contains a lot of "may haves" and "potentials". All we know is that the boy was on their property. We don't know the size of the propety. He may have just been cutting through as a short cut, or not realised it was their property. A lot of people carry weapons on them, it doesn't make them bad people. If you're alone and you get attacked by a dog that won't back off, it's kill or be killed. It doesn't say anything about the boy trying to get into the house.

I’m so happy I found this video. I am a dog lover, so naturally I click on stories about them. This time, I got a bonus - this story is from KOB!!! I was born in Albuquerque. In the early 1960s, I got to be part of a friend’s birthday party on a children’s TV show called the K Circle B Ranch. I wondered over the 60 years since whether that TV station was still on the air. My dad was stationed at Kirtland AFB. Not long after the Cuban Missile Crisis, we moved to Ohio and Wright-Patterson AFB. I haven’t been back to Albuquerque since then. I have happy memories of picnics in the Sandía Mountains, monsoon storms, then finding a large puddle full of polywogs. We visited White Sands national park, Carlsbad Caverns, and El Paso. I returned to the desert southwest, but ended up in Tucson and the Sonoran Desert.🌵 I am looking forward to seeing stories about Albuquerque from your station! Gracias.

Thank goodness they caught that intruder. I have to think....if he was that vicious with the dog, what was his intention to do to the people in that house. I hope they consider that before releasing him. That dog has enough heart for the whole world.

I don't want to be negative, but why would you assume God created animals for _us_ when animals have been here for like 500 million years longer than humans?

@@mattfrenden1000 oh because the earth was created 6000 years ago! Simple math, Genesis to Revelation. Ask God Himself to show you how He had different writers throughout 1500-1600- years, without knowing each other, to write down the math for us of time. I have watched many documentaries on this and the one thing they can’t agree on is the exact timing with or without technology. So God spelled it out, plain and simple. Pray God opens your understanding and that He shows you so there is no doubt!🤓🙏🇺🇸🕊

@@deborahamy1225 Mate, the ancient world goes way beyond 6000 years. A simple carbon dating can go back like 50.000 years. Temples, structures, sculptures, cave paintings, etc. have also been found thousands of miles away from each other, yet they still represent the exact same things. That doesn't mean the Bible is right. In fact those ancient temples, structure, sculptures and cave paintings I'm talking about were here long before your exact religion was a thought in someone's head. One thing is to watch documentaries, another is to watch "documentaries" with cliff hangers and "evidence" based on opinions and stretched out explanations. There's no established scientific facts proving that any religion created by man is true. These documentaries you're talking about is pure speculation. Yes, there might've been someone named Jesus back then, yes, he might've done something which made people believe in him being supernatural, but that was thousands of years ago. People are easily deceived today, now imagine thousands of years ago. There's no evidence of a supernatural being flying across the Universe creating world's with his bare hands, and there's no evidence of any supernatural event ever taking place in the entire observable Universe. We're not the center of the Universe. The ingredients for life is literally everywhere in space... All life requires is for all these ingredients to link up, and given enough time life will emerge. To think that we're the only life in this seemingly never ending continuum is only proving how ignorant and egotistical the human mind can be. The hubris connected to thinking that some supernatural being created us to watch and judge us... It's sickening.

Oh my goodness! Thank God Poncho is alive and making a recovery. This poor sweet boy, who is very obviously a hero. I personally believe there needs to be more serious consequences for animal cruelty, or in this case you could actually say it’s attempted murder, which I think is even worse, if that’s possible than animal cruelty. The offender also should be charged with any other charge that police can charge him with, or the laws definitely need to be changed, allowing harsher penalties for these types of crimes. After all, this offender had a knife and was trying to enter, or did enter somebody else’s home. That seems to be intent I would say. Even if he’s 16, doesn’t matter. A 16 year old KNOWS that you do not get a knife, break into somebody else’s home and then of course attempt to kill the homeowner’s dog. Unbelievable really. Brilliant job Poncho. I’m sure you will be spoilt rotten forever and very deservedly so. Sending love and prayers from Australia♥️
