I hated this theme as a child,my midi version sounded very "cat screamy",after i got Heroes 2 on a better computer i started to enjoy it.

One of my favorite tracks, it's so calming 😄 I often have it on my mind in late winter, when the snow is already away, but the plants are not blooming yet, leaving you with... well, dirt. Also, nice cat action in the video! 😊

Your arrangements make me daydream just as original HoMM II soundtrack used to do it with my younger self. The delicacy of how you play every instrument, treating them like a parent would pick up their newborn child is just so wonderful. And this one in particular is so relaxing (keeping the nature sounds in the background makes it even more perfect), so delicate, so subtle... incredible. Even the cute cat was chilling with the performance. This makes me even more eager to hear how would you arrange HoMM II terrain lava theme... just saying haha. But for real, thank you very much for such a wonderful Christmas gift, hope you all are having a great holydays and keeping yourselves healthy

@@thejockerv Yeah i found that AI Turn arrangement today and i absolutely love it! Otherwise i really love Grass theme, Ocean/Beach theme, Swamp theme, Warlock Castle [original] and Necromancer Castle [expansion/gold] (and Stronghold from HoMM3). Main menu, Desert Theme and Wasteland theme are also nice, plus one of the Combat themes from Homm3. I am waiting eagerly for an arrangement of Sorceress Castle [original], the best music in the entire HOMM2 imho. And some Combat arrangements from HOMM2, they are really nice. HOMM2 is nostalgia for me, since i played it extensively during my teenage years. I like FreeHeroes2, especially with the Swedish translation (which is not complete however).

@@henrikljungstrand2036 Couldn't agree more, Heroes II soundtrack is literal magic. My favorite is the original vanilla Necromancer theme, but there are a lot of tracks I love so much (barbarian, combat, lava, snow, also grass and sorceress as you say are great). I'm really craving for they making more arrangements of vanilla Heroes II factions. And yeah, fHeroes2 is amazing, they released a new version not long ago.

At 2:31 it looks like the very rare instrument called the "celloharp".

Even, though, it's winter here and it's really cold, I can easily imagine summer or a spring picture, on the edge of the forest where the steam takes its beginning. Thank you for that beauty!

Really enjoyed it! The slower pace of the arrangement turned out to be very soothing and atmospheric. It's interesting to hear these smaller arrangements without a full orchestra

the ambient themes from heroes 1 are not around.. they are simple but good. they can be acquired simply by playing the heroes 1 game cd in a cd player, or 'ripping' it from the game cd in windows media player/vlc/etc. i collect mp3s. when searching for heroes might magic 1 soundtrack, most people share the 4 main town themes which is what most heroes 1 soundtracks you find contain, but the extra themes/music has to be game cd ripped

You've got so much skill, but a lot of strange choices of songs to cover. I think your pieces based on the towns are a better use of your time. You do a great job at playing this song, but the original is such a forgettable song compared to something like the Necropolis theme from II or Inferno or Necropolis from III that this isn't as memorable as some of the other music you have done.
