Honda's engine is the main thing In The vintage hero honda splendor plus the design and stuff were of hero and engines were made by honda Thats why old hero honda splendors are better than present day hero splendors
Splendor....a legacy continuing from April 1994..... 26 years and counting.....👍
This was my father's first bike. I learnt to drive a motorbike with this. Absolute beast of a bike, extremely dependable, unbelievable mileage (60 km plus )and needed almost zero maintenance. Sold it is after 15 yrs of usage and 1.1 lakh kms 😄

This was my first 2 wheeler. In fact I learned bike riding on this bike which was my uncle's. This used to be like a status symbol back then (15-17 years ago). So good memories associated with this bike. Very easy to ride, excellent build, almost 0 maintenance.

@@abhinavsital9307 miss krne wali problem to air filter ya carburettor setting ki ho skti h.. aur engine oil k leak ka karan O ring, kick ki ring ya engine cover ki seal, ya neeche wale bolt ki seal ho skta h

Bro, it is a humble request please do not redline a brand new bike so much. The speedometer is disconnected and this bike will be sold to an unknowing customer. Just think how it will feel if you came to know that your new bike has been abused by other people before you even took delivery. Size of the bike doesn't matter. I would not like if someone will redline my brand new 100cc or my brand new 1000cc. And the way you pulled in in first gear, it really puts a lot of strain on the running in engine.

This is a test ride model. They don't sell it to customers. There are people who want to do test rides and they use this same model.

I told my father to buy a bike for me day before yesterday....my father bought a bike for me finally...I had told him the model Yamaha Fzs ( Got bike after 1 CRORE times of request ) ...jab bahar aya dekhne ko.....I was depressed ki log kya kahenge mujhe ....but when I started to ride on it.....damn ...I got mileage of 70 ....most of my friend have Mt 15 but mileage is 35 😂😂..... Edit : one of my friend has Royal Enfield Himalayan...but mileage is 28 😂😂😂😂😂

My father bought this bike on 2006.After driving in2019 we sold it in 25000 only.It had no self start.My father was suffering from knee pain.So I sold it.

Mera toh kharaab ho gya tha 2014 model 80,000 pe uski noise jyaada hogyi aur smoke chodne lag gya tha pehle theek bhi karvaya tha uske baad phir se vohi problem face krni padi. That's why usko bechke Bajaj CT 110 2020 model liya abhi tak koi problem nhi aayi 19,000 chal chuka hai aur power bhi Splendor se jyaada hai🔥

I have a suggestion for Hero motor CEO Pawan munjal. Please do make a splendor plus as a 100cc cruiser with following specifications 1. Implement old Cast iron engine block with liquid cooling facility. 2. Retain the same PGM Fi i3S technology or try an improved version for better economy. 3. Implement cruise control for optimum power and mileage 3. Seat height is ok, but better cushion ability for long drive. 4. Improvised Sturdy, tough and long lasting chassis and suspension for better ride and handling. 5. Instead of alloy wheels try to implement old spoke wheels. 6. Upgrade all electrical switches and meter guages to premium quality. 7. CBS is ok or dual channel abs for better braking. 8. There is no change needed in design aspect that is the uniqueness of this bike. 9. By bringing all these aspects bike cost will get doubled. But Implementing these aspect will increase splendor monopoly in Indian Two wheeler segment. India's National vehicle - Hero Splendor Plus Jai Hind.

2 days before...i drove my dads splendor plus after couple of years for a ride of 200 kms....i filled petrol for 200 rs and this bike drove 200 kms :D...this bike was almost 12 years old and we rarely do any maintenance...i was stunned by the reliability ....modern engines are just no where compared to the quality back then !!!
