OMORI doesn't have a steamworkshop page but that has not stopped tons of people from making not just mods, but completely separate fan games of it. And one of which that I happened across per a comment on one of my recent videos, was Day 224. A very brief, 5 minute look into the day to day terror that is Heros grief after the tragic events that unfold in the original game.

I'm a little bummed to know that at least on KZread the omori community is a lot more neesh than I thought it would be. But at least we have you to give light to even small omori fan projects like this. Once again truly inspiring, maybe today is finally the day I work on more of my next video

i can't believe a 5 mins game can make me cry.
The fact I actually cried because I thought of my partner when the heromari started coming on my fyp
T^T Thank you for covering it! It's the first time someone has, and this video couldn't help bring a smile to my face :D Edit: In retrospect, definitely would've gotten rid of that bucket :P The post MARI scene, your perspective was really interesting to hear and something I didn't think about that absence idea. Though, I would 50/50 would still keep it. I definitely see the appeal of removing the scene thinking about it as yea it takes away from the gut punch. For me, I guess I tried to use it as a form of closure. Once again, thank you for making a video on it :D

I saw this on the 224 day of losing my older sister to suicide I downloaded the game after watching this and I finally got out of bed I talked to a photo of my sister the last one left in my house my parents really hated her they burned all her photos except for one I saved this game make me see that I need to stop mourning over her and I need to move on I got mad I got really mad when talking to the photo of her but this game changed me even if it’s a short game I thank you so much for making a video on this game this changed my life even if I only have known about it for a day I miss my sister but this game this game made me move on I appreciate your post so much thank you!

Just me ? or do I want an au where Mari actually killed herself ? Sure, it will become too similar to the og game but I still want to see it for some reason.

Omori has got a decent amount of “what if?” potential in it, which is why the Omari AU is a thing, so maybe.

@@kaylemathewcomendador6964 I can think of many possibilities: Basil actually kills Sunny in the final fight/Sunny kills Basil in the final fight Kel accidentally pushed Hero down the stairs when hero was on his hikkikomori stage Basil died when Aubrey pushed him to the lake. Omari ofc and probably many more.

I don't think this would be possible. If you don't mind I'd like to share my reasons. (I'd like you to know that I know AUs don't matter about realistic stuff, I just wanted to share this with you.) I reckon, even if Mari can have mental problems, she would still reach out for help, and I think Hero's relationship with her would be so strong he would sense something is wrong. (That's what he was mad at himself for, but he definitely could've noticed something.) He probably would have talked to her and they could've worked things out. I also think Mari is a strong person, and she'd know not to give up no matter how hard it got. Sorry, this was a little vent from me, just needed to slip some of my brain juice into this comment.
