Man shoutout to EC DETAILS Eddie...Hero is a Great Name for this Rinseless.
I’ve only used rinseless for the last 3 years of detailing. In my opinion, rinseless can be used for every vehicle. A rinseless doesn’t mean you’re never using a hose or pressure washer but just that you aren’t rinsing the product off after a contact wash like you would with a soap. I use a pressure washer to clean the wheels and bugs from the front, and usually to rinse off loose stuff first. Common sense should always lead. For example, I was detailing a ford edge that hadn’t been washed in 7 years. That required a different process than my personal car that is usually washed once every week or two and is coated. Thank you for not putting protection in the formula. I wash the whole car at once, I don’t have time for that panel by panel bs. A good rinseless should be able to dry on the surface with no issues. To me, a rinseless is a problem solving solution. I have hard water, and cars tend to dry pretty quick when it’s 105° out, but as long as I have a good rinseless on the surface, I’m not running around trying to make sure everything stays wet. Any polymer spots left behind will come off with the drying towel. A product like idrosave that requires to be used panel by panel is best suited to the garbage can for me. If I want to add protection, I’ll add a spray or two of amplify or diy ceramic gloss while I dry the panel. I’m excited to give it a try, everything else I’ve tried from you guys has been great!

What's your current go to rinseless, Ethan?
@ethanblan435
3 ай бұрын
@@JamessLuner-wi2qs currently my go to is diy detail. Although in the heat of the summer here, I find that diy tends to dry on the panel a little quicker than others. Not a big deal because it doesn’t leave spots, but I’ll have to go back with a light spray of rinseless again after washing before drying. So usually in the summers I’ve been using more p&s absolute and when it’s not quite as hot out, I’ll use more diy. I’ve got some of the new Koch chemie rinseless coming and I’ll try out the hero when it launches, so we’ll see if one of those replaces any of them once I can test them thoroughly this summer. I love diy rinseless for interiors though, I don’t think I’ll switch for interiors, but I’ll test them. With the surfactants, diy rinseless is a really good interior cleaner
@JamessLuner-wi2qs

@@ethanblan435 nice. I also use diy rinseless and experience the same as you. When I tried absolute, I noticed it left spots after drying that took a bit of effort to remove so I got rid of it. I'm super excited for hero. It might replace diy for me

Great wash and talk! Shout out to Eddie. Amazing human being and awesome that he was part and name dedicated to him!
This product is incredible. Works great inside the house too. Sinks, bath tubs, shower doors, tiles, etc.
Can't wait to try it out "Hero"! So far none of your products have let me down. You guys make superb quality products!
The "no adding" drying aid cut down the time, thats huge plus 👌
Looks great. The non-spotting in the sun is the game changer. Thanks.
Very cool for the shoutout to Eddie! And cannot wait to order, send me a gallon! So awesome you created a rinseless, completely understand you have not much use for one but it definitely has its place in the world for many including me. This is a crime, you guys keep taking all my money constantly making great products. Soap guys have no business making a rinseless this good, I’m going to need you guys to calm down as my wallet is crying.
All your products are top notch great research you guys do
I will never do soap washes again. Rinsless is so good and yours makes it even better! I washed my wife’s Audi that was driven in the rain for a month it was filthy. I pre sprayed the entire vehicle with hero, then rinsed it off with the garden hose which that process removed 98 percent of the grit on the surface. Then I did the rinsless wash and dried. Minimal mess and much faster process and I think hero cleans better than soap. Plus at the end of the wash I take hero in a spray bottle at the 64:1 dilution and clean the entire interior windows etc so easy and it’s one product for the entire detail. At the end I add a layer of ceramic sealant to the paint and we are done. It cuts my wash time in a 1/4 and I actually think the car gets cleaner with rinsless vs soap especially if you pre rinse with a hose or pressure washer before the contact wash

Such a great story. ADS and Eddie should be proud of this achievement
Thanks for putting so much effort into this and thanks to Eddie and the other creators pushing for better rinseless washes! Being in an area that has 200+ tds my options are use di water or rinseless wash. For wheels and heavy soiling I turn on my dionizer, but for final washes and maintenance, I’m using rinseless all day. Gotta hate that well water
@armourdetailsupply

Totally, and DI water becomes crazy expensive with filter replacements on high TDS.
I’m very excited for this! Woot! Woot!
Welcome to the rinseless club! I'm excited to give it a try, it sounds like a winner. You mentioned that you wouldn't use it on a muddy car. Technically that is correct, however to me it's still no different than soap. If you have a muddy or extremely dirty car, you're still going to do a prewash with foam/APC and a pressure washer. The same rules apply for rinseless as they do for soap. If you wouldn't touch the surface with a soapy mitt, you wouldn't touch it with rinseless either. For me, rinseless is just a soap replacement for the contact wash stage that saves you time by not having to rinse after. It also buys you time/saves stress if you're working in the sun with hard water, or it makes washing in the garage a better experience for those of us up north where you can't bucket wash outside for practically half the year. Thanks for putting your own spin on a rinseless, more competition will result in more innovation and choices for us consumers.

Appreciate the comments and support, Jeff. I can totally see your point, but if I’m going through all that trouble I think I’m still going to use soap and rinse out all my cracks and crevices. Everyone’s process is different and I have nothing but respect for people who make rinseless work in all situations, better men than I.
I am so excited to try this, I've been following Eddie for a long time and he actually got me hooked up with rinseless washing. BUT, I need to say, I LOVE the foaming capability of DIY, I foam it all over my car as a pre-soak and to me it dries perfectly fine with no marks or issues, it doesn't annoy me and the foam clings to the surface giving me more emulsification and dwelling time.
@armourdetailsupply
3 ай бұрын
Everyone has their own preference, use what works for you. The foam is giving you the perception of better emulsification, but it's not actually. Dwell time, sure. But dwell time really isn't needed with a good rinseless. Ours goes to work immediately.

I agree, Eddie is a great addition to the creative space and detailing community, he's a great guy and I appreciate all the help he's brought the community. Hero... such a cool name for a detailing product and it's really freaking cool that Eddie is a huge driver behind the reason why you guys researched and came out with this rinseless wash. I'm excited you guys are getting into the rinseless game because I feel like it's beneficial for everyone when brands create better products and more competition. Glad you're seeing the light of rinseless because it's been a process I've fallen in love with the past few years and it's my main wash method. Looking forward to the live stream launch of the product and getting a bottle for myself. 🤘
Looking forward to giving this one a try! I use rinseless about 80% of the time. Rinseless is derfinitely the new "buzzword" in the market right now. I use it exactly as you mentioned in your video here, I usually will do a rinseless wash either before I leave or when I put the car back in the garage. Not on my daily driver's, only my sports car. It only takes a few minutes and the vehicle remains in pristine condition.

My use case is pretty simple, I'm using one of the best outdoor car covers known to car (Classic Additions storm cover).So every time I put it away I have to give my car a rinseless wash before putting on the cover. It's hassle but I don't want dirt to create a grinding paste for the paint, the microfiber lining would absorb the dust and dirt and never come out. It can't be machine washed.
Make sure you give your Uk distributor a nudge😉

Hi , will HERO be available in the uk 🇬🇧
I agree with you on the foam... it sounds fun, but it just creates a mess
How does this compare to Adapt for something like door jambs or spray and wipe of a bird bomb? Is Adapt still safer for heavily soiled surfaces like most waterless washes, or is it the other way around? Of course, you wouldn't wash an entire car with Adapt. Really appreciate the detail and agree that foaming rinseless is pointless.
@armourdetailsupply
3 ай бұрын
Hey Chris! HERO diluted at the Waterless dilution ratio will perform in a similar manner to ADAPT on safely cleaning. However, ADAPT is still a more specialized formula for waterless wash so it is slicker, and actually leaves durable protection as you know. Which is very nice for those door jambs, and bug bomb hits!
Are your products available in Europe?

Soap can die off and I wouldnt care. My gallon of Incredible suds will probably last YEARS is I hardly do soap washes since its more of a PITA and takes so much longer to do because of fighting the drips for hours and making sure its fully dry even after blowing out for like 45min. I am OCD and every drop has to be dry. Rinseless I can blow out the seams and 25min later I am done from start to finish

Rinseless is definitely a huge time saver! Going to be interesting to see how I adapt it into my process more.
A foaming product is not a quality that is recognised as helping the cleaning process. Foam is just visual and gives an impression of a car or a surface being cleaned. It's more of a cultural aesthetic. The US loves a foaming product, here in the UK we don't care about foam, we care about cleaning power and cost. Take for instance Bilt Hamber snowfoam it's thin and washes down the panel but drags the dirt with it. In a rinseless setting, you would be battling with foam and polymer spots, a nightmare. I think you guys have you heads screwed on and not getting caught up in the nuances in the industry. I cannot wait to try Hero. I've seen Eddie's chanel and lots of others. Bring on the beginning of June. In2detailing- save me a gallon 👍
